"Well, um, that went well?" Roman shrugged.
"Maybe?"
"Did you mean it? What you said to Virgil?"
"I... yeah, course I did. Why wouldn't I?"
Aaron shrugged. "I dunno." He laughed through his nose slightly. "Guess I've been hanging around Virgil too much. Getting kinda sceptical of apologies."
Roman laughed. "I get what you mean. Like, wow, he has less faith in the word 'sorry' than he has in the human race."
"It's weird, yeah. Hey, um, before I forget, d'you have like any social medias?"
"Only Instagram, really. Why?"
"Ace wanted me to ask you and Virgil to, um, sorta promote the musical through any social medias? They're worried that the tickets aren't gonna sell."
"Oh. Oh, yeah. Yeah, I guess I'll promote the musical. Is, er, is Sunshine doing it?"
"Yeah, apparentely." Aaron shrugged. "Supposedly, he's got a huge following on TikTok but I dunno." He looked at Roman and laughed a little. "Before you ask, he's called EMO_NIGHTMARE, all in caps. I know you're gonna want to check it out."
"Uh, I never said I was gonna-" Aaron's laugh cut him off.
"You've not changed at all, Roman." Aaron waved at him as they got to the stage door. "See you."
"Uh, bye."
"Roman, are you really going to do this?" Roman asked himself. He looked at his phone. "Yes, yeah, I am."
"Okay, um," Roman typed in the name, "emo... emo nightmare... okay." Roman clicked on the first account that came up and it was Virgil's. "Jesus Christ, Virge, that's a lot of Followers."
"So, um, a lot of you didn't believe when I said," Roman nearly dropped his phone when he accidentally clicked on a video, "I knew Roman Winston or Roman Winsor or whatever he's calling himself now. And I totally get that. You know, someone like me knowing a film star's a little bit of a stretch. But I can prove it." The background behind Virgil changed to a photo of teenager Virgil and teenager Roman. "That's me," he pointed to the 16-year-old Virgil, "when I was about 15 or 16. And that's Roman. Yeah, I went through a purple hair faze, don't judge me." The background changed back to a plain wall. "Um, yeah, we were... dating, I guess, in high school. I, um," Virgil ran his hand through his hair, "I don't want to talk about it."
The video stopped and started again. Roman turned his phone screen off.
"Wow, Virge." He muttered. "I didn't know you'd kept that photo too."
"Princey, what are you doing?"
Roman laughed and took a photo. "Taking photos."
Virgil laughed and put his arms in front of his face. "Why?"
"Because when you see something beautiful, you need to take photos of it to remember it forever."
Virgil laughed and ran his hand through his dyed hair. "You're so cheesy, Princey."
"You make up the cute side of the couple, I've got to do something."
Virgil laughed and pulled Roman's phone away from his face. He gently grabbed Roman's face and kissed him.
Roman smiled into the kiss and wrapped his arms around Virgil's waist. Virgil moved one hand from Roman's face to the back of Roman's face. He pulled away after they were both out of breath and dropped down off his tip-toes.
Roman laughed a little and kiss the top of Virgil's head.
"Like I said, you make up the cute side of the couple." He grinned as Virgil blushed a little and put his phone on a wall. "One picture with me? Please?"
"Okay, fine." Virgil laughed as Roman set a timer on his phone.
"Smile."
Virgil rolled his eyes and put up a peace sign. He yelped in surprise as Roman picked him up around his waist and that was how the picture was taken. With Virgil laughing and Roman holding him around the waist.
I give you fluff. You're welcome.
Bye,
Blaize
