"Hey! Sunshine!"
Virgil looked up just as Roman ran up to him and kissed him. Virgil jumped before his eyes slipped closed and he wrapped his arms around Roman's neck.
Roman broke the kiss and grinned at him.
"What was that for?" Virgil asked. Roman shrugged.
"Can a guy not kiss his boyfriend."
Virgil buried his face in Roman's shoulder, blushing. "Not like that." He mumbled.
Roman laughed and picked Virgil up, twirling him around. Virgil yelped in surprise before laughing.
"You're going to be the death of me, Princey." He said as Roman put him down. Roman laughed. "Now come on. What is it?"
"What is what?"
Virgil crossed his arms. "You're never usually this romantic-"
"Excuse me, good sir!" Roman exclaimed, letting go of Virgil's waist to put a hand dramatically over his heart. "Have you even met me? I am offended."
Virgil giggled. "Not like that, idiot."
"Your idiot."
"I never said you weren't. But come on. Out with it, what was that for?"
"Do I have to have a reason to kiss my boyfriend?"
Virgil shrugged. "Well, when you add up all the facts... And what happened..."
Roman's face fell and he bit his lip. "I am sorry, Sunshine. About the whole-"
"I know you are." Virgil's tone wasn't accusing but there was something sharp in it. "I just... I don't mean to pry or look for a reason in everything but I guess I want to make sure? It's stupid, isn't it?" He looked at Roman from under his fringe and looked back at his shoes. "Yeah, it's stupid."
"It's not stupid at all. I'm-"
"Don't bother apologising." Whatever sharp thing had been in Virgil's voice was gone now and it somehow hurt Roman even more. "I was the stupid one who brought it up. So... there's really no reason you're being so," he waved a hand Roman, "you?"
"The reason I'm being so me is because..." Roman trailed off.
"Because?"
Roman shook his head. "It's stupid, nevermind."
"You didn't think I was stupid, I won't think you're stupid." Virgil reached out slowly and took Roman's hand. "You don't have to tell me but what is it?"
Roman looked at Virgil, seemingly searching his eyes for something, before looking back at the ground.
"I, um, it really is stupid, Sunshine."
"Okay. And you really don't have to tell me. I told you before that I don't mean to pry and I don't." Virgil smiled gently. Roman smiled back a little.
"I, um,... the reason I'm me is because... I love you, Sunshine."
Virgil's smile fell. "Really?" He asked. Roman nodded, regretting even speaking.
Virgil stood up on his tip-toes and kissed Roman gently. He broke the kiss almost as soon as he kissed Roman and squeezed Roman's hand.
"I-... me too." Virgil mumbled. Roman smiled and kissed the top of Virgil's head gently.
"Shall we?" He asked. "There's still a whole day."
Virgil nodded and smiled.
Virgil looked out of his window and his eyes widened.
"No." He thought. "No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no."
Virgil hit the top of his head with his hand before hissing.
"Oh please God no." He muttered. "Why? Why?! Why again? Great job, Virgil. You're a basic bitch."
Virgil groaned and fell face-first onto his bed.
"Shit. Please tell me I haven't." Virgil looked up at the wall in front of him. "Know what? I haven't. There, problem solved!"
Really, he knew he had fallen back in love. Not that he was going to accept it.
Yet.
What was this?
I don't fucking know.
Why did I write this?
God has decided to rain pain and cramps down upon me for this entire day and it sucks so this chapter sucks. You're welcome!
Bye,
Blaize
