"Roman? Roman?!"

Roman jumped as Virgil clicked his fingers near his face.

"You finally awake?"

"Uh, yeah, sorry."

"Jesus, Princey. You really haven't changed." Virgil grabbed his bag as if he was going to leave before stopping and biting his lip. "Sorry. If I surprised you with the whole," Virgil waved his hands about in circles but Roman knew what he meant, "thing."

"Um, yeah, no, it's fine. Just acting, isn't it?" Virgil nodded.

"Yeah. Just acting."

"Um, before I forget to say again, you're really good. At acting. It's, um, really impressive." Roman said, mentally cursing at each word. Virgil laughed slightly, not in an unkind way, and smiled.

"Thanks, Roman. Um, I gotta break if I'm gonna catch the bus so... see you tomorrow?"

"Yeah."

Virgil nodded awkwardly. "Uh, yeah. Bye."

"Bye." Roman said as Virgil turned on his heal and left the stage. "Yeah. Just acting."

"Oh Jesus Christ." Roman muttered as he locked his flat door. "Jesus Christ. When could...?" Roman trailed off into a sigh.

Roman rubbed the back of his neck and felt himself blush as he thought about what had happened earlier that day.

"Why does his character have to be so flirty?" He asked out loud. "And why can he act so well? Since when...?"

Roman sat down and put his hands over his face. He sighed as he tried to puzzle out what the Hell was going on.

What was going on was that Virgil was able to act and that had confused Roman more than it would confuse a normal person. Because, while denying it at every turn,  Roman had never really gotten over Virgil. What other reason was there for never moving on with his life and to now be so flustered by a couple of line and good acting?

"I hate this. I really hate this." Roman sighed. "Is this what Virge felt like when... this is a horrid feeling."

It wasn't entirely a horrid feeling, rather floaty and slightly painful.

Roman's mind floated back to what happened after rehearsal was at an end. Specifically, to Virgil's smile. It was such a rare occurrence and really very beautiful.

"And now I'm calling his smile beautiful. Perfect." Roman thought. "Oh, this sucks. This just sucks. And why am I blushing so much? I'm not a blusher. I'm not someone who gets flustered!"

He sighed. Apparently, he was someone who got flustered. It'd just never really happened before.

"Oh fuck. Oh God, no." Roman sighed again and put a hand over his eye. "Please don't tell me I've fallen for... oh God."

Remus looked at phone and groaned. "Ro, I told you not to call me unless it was something important."

"You still didn't have to pick up."

"That's not the point. You would've kept trying if I hadn't picked up. So, what is it? What's this huge, important-"

"I think I've fallen back in love with Virgil."

Remus swallowed down a laugh. "Really?"

"Don't be mean."

Remus giggled. "Oh wait, that means I owe Jan 5 quid."

"You've been making bets on me?!"

"Why are you surprised. Wouldn't be the first time."

"I hate you, Re."

"Aw, love you too, brother."

Roman hung up and Remus cackled with laughter. "Oh, I should do that more often. That's priceless."

Writing Roman's internal crisis was far too fun to be difficult and far too difficult to be fun. And when I wrote 'I think I've fallen back in love with Virgil' on my playlist, Can You Feel The Love Tonight started playing and it was just too perfect.
