Chapter XXXI: Katie

''No. I don't want skirts.'' I cry as Liz is trying to talk me into wearing that piece of clothing she's holding in her hands. I mean, if that could actually be called a piece of clothing.

''You need to wear something sexy. And hell yeah this is sexy as fuck!'' She's screaming the words and throws it into my face again.

I roll my eyes and throw it to the ground. ''No. It's too short. And those high heels...you know it's not my style at all. I couldn't even walk in those." I cry out.

''Alright. Then, do you have a black shorts that you can wear?'' She asks as she goes to her wardrobe.

''Yeah. Why?''

''Cause...'' She's going through all her clothes throwing half of it to the ground, and she takes out something. ''This is what you're going to wear tonight.'' She says showing up a black ripped stocking and her face lights up.

Oh no!

''No. That's off the table.'' I say horrified and look down as burrying my face into my hair.

''Come on!! Please do it for me! Just for tonight.'' She begs. And when I lift my head up, she's making that face again. That cute puppy face.

''Okay. Fine.'' I give in and she starts jumping around and clapping with her hands. ''But I'm not wearing those.'' I say pointing at the black high heels. How can anybody even walk in those?

''Awesome! It's gonna be awesome! You're gonna be awesome!'' She's literally screaming the words and then jumps on me making us both fall onto the bed.

''Yeah. Awesome.'' I say listessly and push her off of me, and she bursts out laughing.

I keep pulling up these stupid stockings. It's so freaking uncomfortable. I never wear these. Not only because I look dumb in them, but also because they slip off and they stink and it's just ahhh...

''Can you stop?'' Liz turns to me.

''I think I'm gonna take it off.'' I keep fiddling with this freaking thing.

''And you're gonna catch a cold.''

Fair point. It's already freezing outside.

''And besides, you promised.'' She shakes her shoulders and lets out a laugh.

The door opens. ''Oh my Goooood! Hey girls!!'' Screams Tina and she jumps on us almost making us fall to the ground. ''Come in!'' She says excited and lets go of us. ''I thought it's gonna be the three of you. Where's Sean?'' Tina asks as we walk into the house.

''He's with the boys. We'll meet at Gabe's.'' Liz explains.

I don't really pay attention to their conversation, cause I'm more interested in what I see right now. Jesus Holy Christ!! It's not even a house.

My neck almost breaks as I keep looking up. There's a huge picture painted on the whole ceiling.

Woah! So big.

''You comin'?'' Asks Tina.

''Uh yeah.'' I take off my eyes of the ceiling and follow Tina into the living room.

This room is huge. That big couch, and that TV. Liz didn't lie when she mentioned that Tina's family is rich as hell.

''Don't you just stand there. Come sit down.'' Says Tina when she comes back to the room with two cups in her hand.

I go and sit down next to Liz. ''Hi.'' I say to the others and wave my hand.

I already feel so uncomfortable being here.
