''Guys!!'' Liz literally bumps into us on the school hallway.
''Oh heyy!!''
''Sooooo...are you guys ready for our trip?'' She asks excited.
The trip. I already forgot.
''O-oh. What trip? Did I miss something?'' Asks Hunter surprised.
''The school trip to Florida. You know. We leave on Wednesday. Does it ring any bell?'' Liz replies waving into Hunter's face.
''Oh, is that this week?''
Oh no. Did he forget?
''Uh-huh.''
''Shit. I thoroughly forgot.'' He says covering his face into his palm.
''Yeah. Don't tell me that you won't come. Even Katie comes.''
''I'm sorry! I don't know how, but I forgot. But I'll talk to Mrs. Simpson. Maybe there's still a free spot.''
''Okay. I hope you'll figure it out. It would be amazing to go on a trip together.'' I say and lean my head on his shoulder.
I catch Liz looking us and she's giving me a winky face. I have to put on a smile.
''Same. But look, I gotta go now. I'm having a test from Biology and this is gonna make my grade. See you guys later.'' Hunter says with a smile.
''See ya!'' I say and Hunter walks away.
We look at each other with Liz and just randomly start jumping around excited.
Oh my God! This is so good! Hunter doesn't even know a thing.
''Girls?'' Hunter's voice calls up.
Hunter? Doesn't he have a test to write?
''Oh heyyy!!'' I turn to him surprised.
''What's going on? Are you happy that I forgot this stupid trip?''
What? He can't think that for real.
''No we're just...nevermind.'' I scratch the back of my neck. ''Uh...did you forget something?''
''Yes.'' He steps closer to me and gives a kiss on my cheek. ''This.'' This is all he says, then runs away leaving me here thoroughly petrified.
Holy cow! He literally kissed me in front of the whole school?? I mean only on the cheek but still...
Whaaaat? I still can't believe it...
