I let the gun fall from my hands, and stared at Maragret's dead body that lay in front of me, knowing full well that I had got revenge for Jenny, Dad and Ash as well. The pain of the bullet wound in my abdomen felt like I was being stabbed over and over again with small prickly needles, but I was only relieved that Margaret, was dead, but I also felt...sadness. I couldn't help but whisper the words, "Goodbye Mum." after I shot her for the fourth time, because I had killed the person who raised me all my life, and even though she turned out to be a cold-blooded murderer, a part of me hurt and mourned for her.

She was my rock when I was younger, and still was until now, so letting go of her was hard. So yes, I allowed myself to let out tears for her, not for who she was now, not the power-hungry murderer, but the person that had once smiled so fondly at me and the person who helped me all the time and made me stronger. I let myself cry, because I had lost the one person in my life, that comforted me, shared secrets with me, pulled me up from the ground when I felt like a broken mess, and loved me throughout my life. I cried for her.

Due to the crying and all the emotion that had built up within me, I didn't notice the footsteps of someone that crept up behind me. I didn't notice the sharp blade that they held in their hand, but I did feel the blade when it slashed my back, and tore the flesh to let blood seep out. I gasped at the burning pain of the large slash on my back, and screamed because of it, but my scream was silent amongst the screams that came from the guards Ash was killing.

My body collapsed to the ground, and I couldn't move because of my bullet wound and the new slash on my back. Dr Turner inched closer to my weak fallen self, like I was his prey, and his eyes glimmered murderously when he gripped the bade in his hand more tighter. I tried multiple times but failed to scream as he advanced; my voice betrayed me, and with bleeding wounds and a person advancing towards me with a blade, my mind only assumed the worst.

I was feeling faint, with the amount of blood I had already lost, and was still losing. I fell in and out of conscious, unable to focus on Dr Turner who was about one meter away from me, smirking cruelly. The pain of the slash on my back and the bullet wound became overwhelming and I found it difficult to breathe properly. My breaths came out as rasps and my throat felt dry. I couldn't even scream when Dr Turner's blade cut into the skin of my arm, because the only thing I wanted to do now, was to rest my eyes. Just close them tightly, and let go of the burning pain.

The blade that was cutting my arm, abruptly lifted and didn't cut anymore of my arm. I strained my head as much as possible, which wasn't much at all, but I caught a glimpse of Ash holding Dr Turner by the neck, and then using his hands to rip off his head. My arm began to feel numb, as Ash slid down on his knees to sit beside me. "Lexi..." His voice pleaded and I faintly saw tear drops that fell from his face, and I wanted to comfort him, but with how I was at the moment, I couldn't do anything.

He hurried to wipe his tears, but only more appeared. His arms circled around my figure, as he picked me up. His hands lightly touched my the slash I had on my back when he picked me up, which made me hiss at the pain that his light touch caused. My eyes started to shut even though I tried to prevent that, because although they would probably help to let got of the pain, I didn't know what else would happen if I did.

I didn't know where Ash was carrying me, but I did know that it was extremely hot where were going, hot as if there was fire somewhere close. Why would there be a fire? I asked myself in confusion, was that where the smoke came from? My vision blurred in and out of focus at some points, until everything just became blurry. The loud sounds of the background deafened my ears, there were people screaming and shouting, and I didn't really recognise any.

A strong breeze of fresh air hit my face, at least that's what it seemed like, and my blurred vision showed a blanket of black above me. I think Ash had carried me outside, but my brain wasn't working up to speed, nor was my sight or hearing, but I could smell fire and...blood. Ash placed me down, on a sheet of something that was both poky and soft, and damp as well. I was outside.

There were two voices that I barely heard properly, but I recognised them somehow...it was Harper and Finis, definitely. Where was Ash? Why was I outside? Why was I asking questions? Why couldn't I breathe right? I heard small words from Harper, which said something along the lines of, "can...save her...she's...die" Die? Finis' voice came up next and I heard, "what...we do" Do about what? What were they talking about? Someone was crying, as I heard sobbing which might've been from Harper.

I groaned as I struggled to move from where I was laying down, and as I did, three figures rushed into my blurred view. One leant down, and once he did, I was able to spot who it was: Ash. Through my blurred vision, I saw his lips move to form a word, but even my hearing had begun to fade. His eyes changed into three vibrant, glowing colours, and he opened his mouth whilst his teeth grew longer and sharper.

The last thing I felt was his teeth that sunk into the side of my neck, and a new flow of pain that rose within my body before everything went numb, and I went into complete darkness.
