"Aaaaaaaaah, I haven't been bowling in so long!" Tori screamed as we drived into the parking lot of the bowling alley. It was quite a big, black and white building, although not as big as C.O.D.E labs, and had a massive sign above the front doors that said, Hollywood Bowling.
"Take a chill pill, honestly, I think my ear might explode. I've never even been bowling before." I said, shrugging innocently, when Tori looked at me with wide eyes, like I had grown an extra head (which I hadn't).
"Oh my- bowling is so fun, and you've never been, what century are you living in? Don't tell me...nineteenth century?!" She blabbered loudly
I just gave her an playful offended look, before she muttered, "no actually, not nineteenth century because bowling was probably invented then."
We got out of the car and ambled towards the bowling alley; well I ambled, Tori decided she wanted to be a kangaroo and jumped up and down, earning a few looks from other people in the parking lot.
Just before we entered, she screamed again, "I got it! You're from the seventeenth century, I knew it!" I gave her a meaningful glare as we walked in.
The inside was really noisy as people talked and shouted and there was loud music blaring from the speakers, but it was fun-looking; there was a grey rug that lead to the reception desk, which had a few sweet treats and small toys on it, and on the left side of the rug, on a slightly lower levelled floor, was a colourful arcade with lots of little children buzzing around. On the right side, was a small cafe like place, with a bunch of tables and chairs, probably just for a quick snack. In front of the arcade, on the higher levelled floor, were the actual bowling alleys, which was where we were headed towards.
There were around fifteen separate bowling alleys, with purple and blue lights shining down on them, and the red coloured seats and a green table, at the end of each alley. I followed Tori to our alley, number 8, after we paid at the reception.

"Ok, so you hold it like this- no put three fingers in and- yeah, like that. Now hold your arm back like this, and then push it forward, and release the ball, so that it hits the rolling pins." (That was Tori helping me with the bowling, since I'd never done it before)
"So like this..." I asked, throwing the ball
"No, you're facing the wrong way-" Tori shouted, but it was too late. We watched as the ball went flying through the net that separated the bowling alleys and the arcade, and straight into one of the game screens, with a loud 'smash'. The whole place when silent, until Tori broke the silence, when she randomly burst out laughing.
"Holy cow! Uh...Whoopsie?" I sheepishly chuckled, "I think it's best that we take our leave Tori." I grabbed her arm and pulled her out of the building hastily, although she was still laughing, to the point where she was clutching her stomach and wiping tears.
"Let's just go somewhere else. It wasn't even that funny!" I huffed
We went to a small McDonalds place that Tori (after she calmed down) found in the town, and sat down, once I ordered a fizzy drink and meal, whilst Tori stuck to a meal and vanilla milkshake, and we are in a comfortable silence. My mind wandered back to the now faded words that were written on my arm, and I tried to search my memories for any sign of when I wrote them, but it was just blank. Blank like how it was when I tried remembering what happened yesterday, which I had a bad feeling about.
Then there was Ash, whom I just needed to see, there was a constant feeling inside me that was urging me to go and see him. But if I wanted to see him, I had to visit soon, because the week was almost over. That meant my ID card would no longer work for every door, so I wouldn't be able to see him. However, I still had the rest of today and tomorrow, and I had to go back to look at the files.
