After Tori gave her explanation, I gave her a comforting hug; I knew exactly how it felt to lose a parent, because I lost my dad. The pain that his lost put me through, was pure torture, all the grief just built up inside me. I lost hope. I lost hope because my dad was my rock, and I lost him. The tears I shed day after day, night after night, could still not make up for how much I missed him; it was like someone had carved a piece of my heart out, the most precious piece. My mom was there to comfort me, but that was it, just me and my mom, no other family. My parents didn't have any siblings.
But even though I lost my dad, I had my other parent to comfort and look after me, however Tori, she lost both parents, and her Uncle wasn't the warm kind of person. She had to suffer double of my pain, and she had to do it all by herself. So I decided I would tell her.
"If I tell you, you have to swear that what I show you will stay a secret between us, and us alone, OK?" I told her, after I broke our embrace.
She wiped her tears and said determinedly, "I swear, no one will know. Scout's honour," she held up the middle three fingers on her right hand, as I chuckled. "Let's go then."
I lead her up on the upper library floor, and took her to the same shelf that was the entrance to the passageway. I got out the key, from the back of the shelf, and unlocked the entrance, pushing it open, whilst Tori just stared in awe, "Woah!" "Come on, the inside contains the more important stuff." I ushered her in. The lamp that I was on the ground the last time I came was still there, I wandered if someone else might've come in. I shut the door, and picked up the lamp and let her follow me to the wooden doors of the file room.
I gestured her to open the door, since she had such an eager look on her face, and I snickered when her face turned into a look of bafflement as soon as she opened the doors and saw the drawers, "Drawers?" She questioned. I strided in, and put the lamp on the side, "Nope, well yeah they're drawers, but what's inside is the vital stuff. Open one," I said
She rushed towards the closest drawer, and opened it, with a more relived face when she saw the files. "What are the files about?" "They're files on people who have worked here. You see the year numbers on each one -she nodded- those are the years that the people died in," I informed. "So do you think I could find the files of my..." She trailed off at the end, already knowing the answer to her question. She started looking for the right drawer instantly, and I began looking for the 2010 drawer, so that I could find my dad's file.
"I found it, 2010!" Tori half-rejoiced. I rushed towards where she was standing, which was indeed by the 2010 drawer, and I sighed happily. "Right, let's find those files." I said and we both rummaged through the files.
"I got my dads, now I just need to find my mom's," She said, just as I found the file I was looking for, Daniel Stone, "got it, I've it my moms now!" She said a few seconds later, "Alright, I'll read my parents' files first, then you can read yours." She read her dad's first:

Oh my god! I thought to myself, remembering the file I read that mentioned a mission that was carried out.
