Whatever it takes

Chapter 6

After the test, Aizawa had given them the rest of the day free.

"Yagi, you got some impressive quirk," said the blonde.

"And are you and that greenette twins?" asked an excited pink-skinned girl.

"Well... yeah, we are twins," said Izuku with a little bit of hate in his voice, which no one except Izumi, Bakugo, Shoto, and Ochako caught on.

"As for the quirk, I don't have one." he then went on to tell them everything.

"WOW! THAT'S SO MANLY," said the redhead.

"Thanks," said Izuku as he sweat-dropped.

"But man, quirkless are bullied a lot in their schools. I hope you didn't go through that," said the redhead.

"Well, it wasn't 'that' bad, right you both?" asked Izuku sarcastically to Izumi and Bakugo. Izumi just hung her head, while Bakugo being Bakugo, lashed out and launched at him.

"That's enough Deku. I get it that you trained and got into UA, but enough of rubbing everything in our face. We apologized for it," said Bakugo, with his hands on his collar.

Izuku simply grabbed his hand, flipped him, and pinned him on the ground.

"I don't believe you have changed, Bakugo. And a simple sorry or an apology will not make up for years of bullying," said Izuku with venom in his voice. He then let him go.

"I-I guess we should just introduce ourselves," said Mina, trying to break the tension which had developed after Izuku had effortlessly pinned Bakugo on the ground.

"Izuku kun, why did Bakugo call you Deku?" asked Ochako.

"Ur- Ochako, he gave me the nickname as an insult," said Izuku, as Ochako blushed. He was currently sitting with her and Iida.

"Insult?" asked Iida, and Izuku nodded.

"Really? I find it really cute. Plus it sounds like 'you can do it' in Japanese," said Ochako, as Izuku blushed heavily.

"You can call me that," he said quickly as he turned his face to hide his blush.

"W-what! You just said it was an insult!" said a shocked Iida.

"Copernicus revolution," said Izuku.

"Cope- what?" asked a confused Ochako. They then continued to eat their lunch.

"Izuku," said Shoto as he came and sat near him.

"Yeah?" asked Izuku.

"When you gave that sarcastic remark, what did you mean?" asked Shoto.

"What exactly are you talking about?" asked Izuku.

"The bullying thing," said Shoto.

"Oh that..." said Izuku as he explained his whole childhood.

"Deku kun?"

"Yes, Uraraka?" 

"Can I kill them?" asked Ochako with a murderous aura, scaring the living daylight out of the three.

"N-n-no n-need Ochak-ko, t-they r-regret doing i-it," stuttered Izuku. Him saying her name calmed her down, as she got flustered.

'Why does he has such an effect on me? His voice makes me go weak, all fuzzy inside,' thought Ochako.

"Yagi kun, Todoroki kun, how do you know each other?" asked Iida.

"Oh well, we were in the same pre-school and same classes in school till we were six, after which he moved away. He was one of the only ones who didn't bully me for being quirkless and was my only friend," he said.
