Whatever it takes

Chapter 27

Shoto shot a large wave of ice towards Izuku, but he very easily broke through that.

Izuku was rushing closer to Shoto when Shoto used his fire to block him off. Izuku punched the air to send a blast of wind towards him, but Shoto used an ice wall to block it.

Shoto then sent a large number of flames towards him, which Izuku dodged, but instead of stopping, he moved his hands trying to get him.

Izuku jumped up and tried to close the gap between them, but Shoto sent an extremely large ice attack he did with Sero. Izuku's leg did get caught in it, however, he was still not outside the arena as he technically hadn't touched the ground. He pulled his leg out and slid towards Shoto, who used his fire.

Izuku jumped over the fire and nailed a somersault kick on Shoto, but he used a lot of ice to make a dome to prevent any serious damage.

Shoto then got out and sent another large blast of fire, singing Izuku's clothes.

"NOT ONCE AGAIN!" yelled Izuku as he tore off the remains of his shirt.

"Damn!"

"He's so hot."

"Man those abs."

"Dude, he's gonna steal all the girls."

Shoto's shirt too wasn't doing well, as the flames had covered his entire upper right half of the body, burning away the right side of his shirt. 

With that, Shoto too took off his shirt and threw it.

"DAMN! There's so much hotness on the stage. Like two hottest guys of our class are standing there without their shirt," said Mina.

Momo and Ochako were too broken to process anything.

Izuku and Shoto ran towards each other and Shoto tried to punch him with his left side which Izuku smacked away. However, the next second Shoto's right hand went forward to punch Izuku in the stomach, which Izuku blocked with his left hand.

Shoto, expecting this, froze that hand, causing Izuku to jump back.

By now, the arena was in shambles, with ground broken, large icicles covering it all over.

"COME AT ME WITH EVERYTHING YOU GOT!" yelled Izuku as he focused every ounce of power in his fists.

"YOU ASKED FOR IT!" yelled Shoto as his fire side burned even brighter.

They both then rushed to each other, with Izuku using his chi and Shoto propelling himself using his Ice and Fire.

"THEY'RE GONNA KILL EACH OTHER!" yelled Cementoss to Midnight as he formed walls of cement and Midnight tore a part of her costume to use her quirk. 

However, they both just tore through the cement and clashed, and the resulting explosion was so big that it completely blew away Midnight's quirk.

There was a lot of smoke in the arena, and the people were extremely quiet, both due to eagerness to know the winner and due to nearly being blown away.

As the smoke cleared, Izuku could be seen standing in the stadium with his hand broken and purple, while Shoto was in a crater on the wall, completely exhausted and panting.

Shoto was about to fall when Izuku appeared below him and put him on the back piggyback style.

Shoto, tired, just put his head on his shoulder.

"Damn, that was something," he said. The next moment, the crowd started to cheer and clap, as Mic announced Izuku as the winner.

"Welp, let's go to Recovery girl. Man, she is really gonna kill me this time," said Izuku in fear.
