"Morningstar? Isn't that a word used for the Devil's fall?" Lena asked, taking another sip from her gin. Kara just smirked and looked into those mesmerizing green orbs. "Well haven't you read the Bible. My guess is that you've read it 3 times." The Devil stated and smiled when she saw Lena's eyes widen. "Please do not tell me you are some truth seeker." The Luthor said, causing both to laugh. "Not quite, but it is my duty to reveal the truth, especially those little dark truths." Kara whispered into Lena's ear, making the woman shiver and in all honesty she liked it. "Oh really? Then what is mine?" Kara took this as a challenge and smirked very confidently. "So Lena, what is it that you desire?" The Devil asked, looking intensely into Lena's eyes, using her charm into the woman. "Nice try 'truth seeker'." The Luthor smirked and that's when Kara's eyes went wide. 'How did it not work on her?' The Devil asked herself and was baffled. She just looked at the woman with a shocked look, while Lena just drank her gin casually. "How did it not work?" Kara whispered and really asked her father's antics. 'Is this some sick trick from him?' Just the thought made Kara mad, and was ready to burst into flames, when suddenly a soft hand gently grabbed her arm. "You've been very quiet. Are you really that baffled?" Lena asked worriedly, but put a joke to cheer up the mood. The Devil looked at Lena very intensely, then to her arm and Lena immediately retracted her hand...But deep down Kara didn't want that. 'Okay what is going on?' She was so deep in thought, that she almost forgot about Lena, almost. "I'm sorry darling. You have taken me by surprise." Kara apologized and flashed a charming smile, hiding her probably internal panic attack...The Devil getting baffled by a human? Very shocking, isn't it?

"Let me guess. This is your first time not being able to trick someone into spilling their dark truth?" Lena asked and Kara swallowed the lump in her throat. Seriously what is going on? "Yes, It has just taken me by surprise. My charms usually work on everybody." Kara confessed, I mean she is the Devil and always tells the truth. The woman smirked to herself and gently touched Kara's shoulder. "Well let me tell you Kara...I'm not everybody." And that is the one big thing that Kara found so, so fascinating about this goddess. "I can see you are not like everybody." Kara whispered, sending once again shivers to the Luthor's spine. "But I must confess, your 'charm' may not have worked on me, whatever that is. But either way you are still very charming Miss Morningstar." Lena confessed, and made Kara blush? No, no of course not! Kara covered it with a confident smirk. "I like to hear that Miss Luthor." Kara said and got a little closer to Lena, while the woman now played with her deep red tie. And I must confess, that Lena was a blushing mess and Kara was happy having the power back.

They continued to finish up their drinks, continuing their flirty banter and oh how they made each other blush. Who knew the Devil could blush? I must say that I am very surprised. While the two were busy flirting, Maggie just watched from afar and smirked to herself. "Oh how history likes to repeat." She muttered to herself, actually worried of what might come in the end.

I think most of us know what happened in the start with the Adam and Eve shenanigans, am I right?

"Kara, it was very nice meeting you, but I must go." Lena said and gave Kara her hand to shake. The Devil didn't have the time to even process what was even happening, but her body was in a sudden autopilot and just shook the beautiful woman's hand. Discreetly Lena slipped a little piece of paper in Kara's hand and left, leaving the Devil in a trance. "Nice meeting you too, Lena." Kara muttered, after Lena has been already long gone.

You may be asking yourself, why Kara was such in shock, well let me tell you. Usually after intense flirting with a woman, the Devil herself would bring the woman to bed and well you know, have some very, very late night activities. But what seems like, Kara didn't score tonight. She looked onto the piece of paper, after breaking her eternity long trance, and there she saw the very few digits Lena wrote in a very elegant handwriting. It was her number. Maybe Kara did score tonight...Kind of.

Her mood flirting with other women have been long gone, so she chose to go to her penthouse. When the elevator dinged and the doors slid open, she took off her suit jacket, throwing it onto her black leather sofa and then walked towards her bar, pouring herself an extra strong glass of whiskey. She was thinking about everything that has happened. What mostly concerned her was about the charm. 'How come didn't it work?' Kara asked, taking sip after sip from her whiskey. "Well aren't you in deep thought." A voice echoed. "Maggie if you're here to scold me again, then spare it." Kara bitterly said, knowing her demon very well. "Kar, I'm not here to scold you. I'm here to ask you what the hell has happened down there." Maggie said, putting extra pronunciation in the word 'hell'. Kara just rubbed her face, clearly wondering the same thing. "I don't know Mags. This may be some sick trick from father, trying to force me back to Hell. Seems he's very unpleased about me having a little vacation in his so called world he created." Kara stated, both knowing this was very true. "Could be. But I must say she isn't bad." Maggie chuckled, knowing her master very well. "I'm telling you. Her beauty is so out of this world, she must be some goddess. She must be, because my charm didn't work on her!" Kara said the last part in frustration. "Well what are you going to do?" The demon asked, pouring herself a glass of booze. She always knew her boss had a plan. "She gave me her number." Kara smirked and showed Maggie the little piece of paper. The demon grabbed the paper and looked at it, raising a brow. "What's the plan?" She asked and Kara smirked into the glass. "I'm going to find out what is truly going on." The Devil said, making her eyes flash a dangerous color of red.

I think operation 'the charm' is on.
