The sky was a little dull, the clouds a light grey and it just seemed so...Depressing. Kara sat in her car, her sister right beside her. "Packed everything?" Kara teased her sister, causing Alex to roll her eyes. "Of course I did. My sword is all shined and sharpened." Alex replied, stating the obvious. "Good, because I have this little feeling we will need it." Kara replied and sped up, passing through every annoying red light. "Do you do that all the time?" The angel asked, gripping the seat tightly. 'Coward.' Thought the Devil, mentally rolling her eyes. "Why follow stupid rules, when they are the obstacles blocking the fund in life?" Kara asked and Alex noticed, her dear sister wasn't wrong after all.The Devil continued to speed through the streets, the angel gripping her seat tightly. After doing cars and pedestrians, Kara finally arrived to their destination. "Never knew you had a hangar." Alex said, getting out of the car. Kara just smirked at her sister, her eyes having that devilish glint. "There are many things you don't know about me, dear sister." The Devil answered, opening the hangar to reveal multiple cars and a matt black jet. Maggie stood there, with other demons, loading a few necessary equipment. "Morning boss. Everything is here, we just need to get the motorcycles in." Maggie updated her master, who nodded. "Very well, make sure everything is done in a couple of minutes." The Devil ordered, soon hearing Maggie bark orders to the other demons. Kara saw out of the corner of her eye, how Alex had heart eyes on her face, literally. Chuckling to herself, she just whispered: "Go get that goodbye kiss." And Alex just blushed, blushing like a damn angel in love.
Before Kara boarded the plane, she wanted to give Maggie an important task. "Maggie." Kara called, in a blur the demon was by the Devil's side. "Yes boss?" The demon asked, ready for anything her master was giving her. "I have one important task for you...While I'm not here, take care of Lena. I just know she would be in Linda's plan, so I want you to look after her...If danger ever happens." The Devil tried to hide her worry, but might have slipped a little. Of course Maggie knew what her boss meant, and immediately took the job serious. "Don't worry boss. I'll try my best and promise with all my power, to look after Lena." The answer seemed to satisfy Kara, giving Maggie a squeeze on her shoulder, before boarding the jet. The demon was aware of how important the Luthor has become in the Devil's heart, internally rooting for them to get together, one day. (She also wants to win that damn bet Alex and the rest of the demons have made). Maggie's thoughts were stopped, when a pair of strong arms engulfed her. "I'm going to miss you." Alex admitted, not wanting to go just yet. Maggie hugged back, she herself wasn't ready to let go. "I'm going to miss you too." The demon whispered, breaking the embrace to kiss the angel. "Please take care." Maggie pleaded, knowing how dangerous their mission is going to be. "I'll try my best, my little demon." Alex answered, kissing Maggie once more, before needing to board the plane. "You better, my little ángel." Maggie said the last word in Spanish, aware of how Alex loved it. (Gosh, both of them are turning each other to major softies).
Kara sat in her seat, observing the little love scene from the window. To be honest, she was happy that her sister and good friend, have found love...But deep down, she herself had desired to have that too. Seeing how happy Alex and Maggie are, by Hades did it make her heart flutter of thinking of a certain green eyed beauty...That maybe, just maybe she could have that bit of happiness too. When Alex finally had the guts to let go of Maggie, and took a seat, the plane finally moved. "Where to?" The angel asked, while buckling up. "To a dear city that loves the Devil...Rome." Kara couldn't suppress that little wicked smirk of hers, knowing that a few 'friends' of hers would be very delighted to see her...
Rome beware, the Devil's gonna come...
While Kara and Alex were on air, Lena decided to stay in her penthouse...Not wanting to deal with the press yet. The Luthor made herself a cup of tea, while her thoughts were occupied by a little Devil. Seriously, this beautiful woman is whipped for the Devil, and I mean WHIPPED. She just noticed how much she missed Kara already, her presence seemed to light up her day, make her smile that her employees found it...Unusual. Sighing to herself, she was well aware the amount of thinking about Kara, was rather...How could I say this? Ah, addicting and just a sign, of a much she has fallen in love. Lena just grabbed her mug, walking to her living room to probably read one of the books on her shelves. She looked through the shelves, not really finding something suiting her mood...She was searching for something with romance yet a classic, and no we are not taking about Romeo and Juliet. Finally, after searching for a couple of minutes, she found a book suiting her mood: The Devil in love by Jacques Cazotte. Out of all the thousands of books Lena owned, she seriously had to choose that one.
The Luthor made herself comfortable on the couch, reading through a few pages, when a knock was heard on the door. Looking at the clock nearby, she noticed it was near lunchtime, and she could remember she hasn't ordered take out. 'Who could it be?' Lena wondered, taking her phone to look through the camera...You will never know, it could be her xenophobic brother. Seeing that it was Maggie, with a bag of Big Belly Burger in hand, she just sighed in relief. Lena walked towards the door, happily opening it. "Hey Mags, I didn't know you were coming." Lena greeted, making way for the demon to enter her house. "Sorry if I interrupted something, just thought you would be hungry." Maggie said, giving the CEO the take out bag. "So you are the one making sure that I eat, while Kara is gone?" Joked Lena, making both chuckle as they took a seat onto the dining table. "Actually she did tell me to look after you, while she's gone." The demon answered, unwrapping her burger. Hearing that, that Kara cared for her that much, just made wonderful things to Lena's heart. "You should tell her." Maggie just casually said, taking a bite from her burger. This caught Lena absolutely off guard, wondering what Maggie meant. "What? What should I tell her?" Lena asked, acting as if Maggie had no idea, but the look the demon was giving told otherwise. "You should tell her, that you probably love her." The demon just dropped the bomb, knowing exactly she was stating facts. Lena might have almost chocked on her burger, after hearing Maggie's 'so right fact'. "I-I don't know yet...What looks like, we both might be sharing the same feelings...But I have this feeling, that a part of her is still not ready and there...There are still many things I want to know about her." Lena answered honestly, not hiding anything, since Maggie actually knew. When Maggie heard Lena's statement, she had to agree...Her master may share the same feelings as Lena, but there are still many gaps to be filled. "You have no idea..." the demon practically whispered to no one. "What did you say?" Lena asked, with her mouth full. "I said, you are right." Maggie answered, actually telling the truth, because Lena is actually right.
Both women continued to have a lunch, having conversation about various topics. They had a fun time, but sadly Maggie had to leave, because one of her 'co-workers' informed her, that a workshop needed her assistance. "See you around little Luthor." Maggie said, before leaving the penthouse. Lena just had to chuckle, hearing the new nickname her friend gave. "Take care Mags, please drive safely." Lena said, waving Maggie a bye and was quite aware of the demon's reckless driving...She herself was a victim. The demon just shook her head, waving the Luthor a goodbye, before driving off.
Lena just watched, until the car was out of sight. Slowly, she closed the door behind her, activating her security to it's highest level and walked towards the kitchen, probably pouring a glass of wine. Lena leaned onto the kitchen island, her thoughts and herself were the only ones left. Her mind once again went to Kara, this time thinking about wonderful things...But then, a darker cloud invaded her mind. Her worries started to grow, fully aware that her brother is somewhere out in the world, probably planning a mass murder again or kidnapping her again, forcing her to help him with his sick plan. It sent a shiver down her spine, really needing a pair of strong arms to engulf her...But sadly, Kara wasn't here. She wished that Kara would be here right now, to rid these dark thoughts off her mind, to kiss her that only her eyes would be focused in ocean eyes...Ugh, so many things. But this time, she was glad that her phone chimed with a message. Gladly opening the phone, she couldn't help but smile at the picture Kara sent her..Well it really wasn't Kara, more likely Alex. It showed a sleeping Kara, hugging a blanket tight, and she just looked so adorable and Lena just wanted to be there, to cuddle with Kara. The message said: 'Thought you wanted to see this. - Alex'. Who knew that even the Devil, would be such a teddy bear? The picture was wonderful and Lena was one of the very few people, to see this side of the Devil herself...And right there and then, maybe, just maybe, Lena has gone a level deeper in falling in love for the Devil...
Linda just sat on her chair, that wicked smile on her fave never leaving, while she toyed around with a coin. She could feel how her plan would be set into place, running for sure smoothly. "That smile of yours, is telling that everything seems to be going into plan." Lex said, having as well a smirk on his face. He just came back from dealing with one of their...Targets, and what looks like mission has been accomplished. Linda just spun from her chair, looking at the Luthor. "The Devil's gonna come..." She said, while chuckling evilly.
