Lena, Alex and Nia made their way north of National City, Nia saying, that there is where the nearest time portal is located. The car drive was...It was filled with uncomfortable feelings. Lena tried to distract herself by trying to calculate random things she sees, and Alex just wondered what in the actual Hell is going on and that maybe her father was behind all of this mess...You know, he may be the father to all, probably called the best dad in the whole universe...But to his own kids...Let's say he wasn't really there when they needed him the most. So it wouldn't be a surprise when their father was truly behind this, showing it as a lesson, when it's literally torture.
"Nia, what are we going to look for in the library of Alexandria?" Alex bluntly asked, wondering why they need to go back in time, to a library that has been mysteriously destroyed. The witch just bit her lip, trying to come up with a good explenation.
"Many claim that Julius Caesar is responsible for the destruction of the library, but some people who were there during the event of the civil war have claimed to have seen someone entering the library before it got burned down and mysteriously reappeared moments after. No one saw the persons face, but as I inspected the place a few weeks later after it's destruction, I was able to feel the exact same dark presence, that was in Kara's penthouse. So whoever this is, we need to stop them, because they are up to absolute no good." Silence fell in the car, as everyone's worry just grew minute by minute. Lena's gears in her brain started to work, thinking as to what the mysterious person was looking for and then she thought about her dreams. "Could it be possible that my odd dreams have a connection to this? I mean, it does look like the person destroyed the library for a reason, probably to destroy important infromation." Lena explained, getting a eyebrow raise from the angel. "That's...That's a valid explanation. I remember that the library contained a lot of important information of the first testament in the bible...Many which aren't even written in the bible itself." Alex looked towards Nia, getting a nod of affirmation from her.
Nia took a left curve, driving the car into a small road which led them deep into the forest. "The portal should be about 200 meters South-East from the hut." The witch explained, parking the car front of an abandoned looking hut...Which kind of looked scary. All three women got out of the vehicle, feeling the fresh forest air hit their faces, but there was sadly no time to enjoy it. "So where do we need to go again?" The Luthor asked, a little confused with what is happening. Alex and Nia chuckled, getting a perfectly raised eyebrow from the CEO...Which made them stop. "It isn't far, I can already feel the magic." Nia confrimed, getting a nod of approval from the angel and human. Finally, they made their way into the forest, careful with each step they take...Since Nia said that the whole forest is holy ground and they must be careful. "Seriously, are there any places which aren't holy ground?" Lena mumbled to herself, but Alex caught her words, making her chuckle quietly. 'Oh, you have no idea Lena.' Thought the angel, finding it hilarious about Lena's semi irritated face...Probably missing her glass of scotch already.
Not even 15 minutes later, they finally made it to their destination. To Lena's disappointment she was met by 'nothing', but she did expect to see a portal or at least some type of wormhole. "Where's the portal?" The Luthor patiently asked, looking towards Nia, who was busy looking through her spellbook. "Ah here it is!" The witch happily exclaimed, and finally started to cast a spell in a foreign language. Alex could feel Lena tense up when a strong gust of wind started to surround them. Feeling pity for the human, she gently placed a comforting hand to Lena's shoulder, receiving a gentle smile from her. Suddenly, yellowish light appeared in the middle, soon forming into a ovalish portal. The witch closed her book, a wide grinn on her face. "The adventure just started guys." She joked, before jumping into the portal.
Lena's eyes were wide with fascination yet with a tad bit of insecurity. She looked into the portal and only saw an endless trunnel of light. Upon noticing Lena's uncomfort, Alex jumped in next, showing her that there was nothing to fear about. Knowing that she had limited time before it would permanently close, Lena took a deep breath and really wished Kara would be here to incourage her, but just with the thought of Kara, she finally jumped into the portal, trying her best to contain her scream.
