"You're not together  though, right?" Ginny asked Millie, whispering as all the kids sat together in the living room.

"For the last time, no." Millie whispered back, giggling slightly at having to repeat herself once again.

"Are you going to get back with Cedric then?" Ginny asked, Millie's face twisting in confusion.

"What? No! Or...I don't know, but why would you think that?"

"Well I mean, aren't you guys kind of...I don't know...even now?"

"Not in the slightest," she scowled. "I'm not dating Ced. I didn't cheat on him, he cheated on me. Big difference,"

It was getting dark out and no one but Ginny had confronted Millie about her and Fred. Everybody was probably just too drunk to remember what had happened.

Earlier that day Millie had sat in Charlie's room drafting letter after letter to send back to Cedric after she'd tucked his away in her trunk. No two letters were the same; some of them going on and on about how she needed time away from him, others desperately explaining her desire to see him again. She couldn't make up her mind in the slightest. She's been completely delirious and confused as she just wrote all of her fucked up feelings on any piece of parchment she could find, not even thinking before she let her quill scribble away.

"Millie!" George called out, sitting in front of the record player. "Help!"

"How have you not figured this out yet?" she asked with a giggle, standing up and beginning to cross the room. "Killian's shown you a hundred-" she was cut off as she tripped over Harry's foot.

She braced herself for impact, but Fred had quickly stood up from the couch and caught her, his arms wrapped around her waist and back. Millie looked up, her sky blue eyes meeting his entrancing brown ones. She hadn't really looked into them in a while. Sure, they'd made eye contact plenty of times in the past few weeks, but not in this encapsulating sort of way.

"You okay?" Fred asked deeply as he pulled her back up, not breaking their eye contact.

"Y-Yeah," she stammered, fireworks swarming her entire body as his strong hands lingered on her body. A few moments had passed and they still hadn't broken eye contact.

"Jeez, talk about tension," Ron laughed, looking down at his muggle playing cards as he played Solitaire.

Fred's hands instantly left Millie's body and she smiled softly at him, quickly turning around and completing her journey to George.

"You guys have got to figure out what that is," he scoffed quietly.

"It's nothing," Millie said back. "It's just sex, we've discussed it a million times,"

"Barrett, it'll never be just sex with you and Fred," he spat. "Okay, I'm done talking about my brother's sex life, teach me how this thing works."

Millie just rolled her eyes and laughed, helping George with the record player once again.

Ced

I'd really like to talk again. Are you free this Friday? I know it's soon. My only thought is that maybe we shouldn't do it somewhere so busy this time, but I don't know where. Let me know if you know of anywhere.

I miss you too.

Millie

Millie stared down at the hundredth letter she'd written, unsure of whether this was the right one to send. Was this too flirty? Too eager? Should she even send one back? She was just so confused on what to do about the whole thing. She continued to pour out her feelings, rewriting and rewriting dramatics and ecstatics, freaking out over her clouded thoughts.
