A small smile crossed Fred's face as he kissed Millie's forehead.

"I love you," he whispered before grabbing his wand and the small bag he'd packed. "See you soon."

He wrote a quick note and left it on the kitchen counter before taking a deep breath and leaving his house. He apparated right outside of Heathrow, ready to go on his first ever muggle plane. The fact that Romania was too far to apparate to aggravated him, but how bad could one plane ride really be? Him and Killian could get a portkey back and everything would be perfect in time for the wedding- and he'd have a new muggle story for his dad.

He knew this was risky, going to Romania to find Killian. He'd been a couple times before, so he knew where he was going and everything, but what if Killian really couldn't come? What if Fred made this trip for nothing and he and Millie got married with only one member of her family present? I will not let that happen, Fred promised himself.

Maneuvering his way through the airport was difficult and confusing, but he did everything as fast as he could. He had a small stash of muggle money from him and Millie's trip to Paris a little while ago, so buying his one way ticket to Romania was very simple. He went through security quickly and, before he knew it, was sitting on a plane getting ready for takeoff.

His finger's gripped the arm rests as his leg bounced beneath him. He was much more nervous than he'd ever admit.

"First time?" a short, tan woman asked as she shoved her bag under the seat next to him, sitting down and flashing him a smile.

"That obvious, huh?" he chuckled.

"You're gripping those handles so hard your knuckles are white," she smirked. Her Romanian accent was thick. She was young, her hair dark and long as she threaded her fingers through it. "What's got you on your way to Romania?"

"Visiting my fiancé's brother," he stated plainly.

"Fiancé? Congratulations," she said with a smile.

"Thanks," he responded, his voice shaky as the plane started to move forward. He was staring straight out the window.

"Don't look out there," the girl said. "It'll just make you more nervous to see how high up we are,"

Fred nodded subtly and closed the solid window shade. The woman pulled out a book and silence overtook them both. Within a few minutes, there was a loud whirring sound and Fred, panicking, looked around to see if this was abnormal. No one else seemed to think anything of the sound which calmed his nerves, but his terror spiked up again when he felt the plane begin to ascend. There was a flight attendant talking at the front of the aisle, but all Fred could think of was how different this was than a broomstick.

He calmed down as the flight continued, and eventually fell asleep for the majority of the three hours. There had been turbulence, but none of it had woken him up. What did wake him up, however, was when an alarm went off and everyone else around him started panicking. He could feel the plane descending.

"W-What's happening?!" he exclaimed, looking over to the girl he sat next to.

"I have no idea," she cried, looking straight ahead as she gripped the armrests. "I think we're g-gonna crash!"

"What?!" Fred bellowed.

He looked around, terror engulfing him as he saw families squeezing each other, tears falling down nearly everyone's faces as the pilots screamed words that Fred wasn't comprehending. There was a moment- a beautiful moment where he saw him and Millie together on their couch, her reading while she played with his hair, the moonlight shining onto them from the window- before the plane crashed and everything went white.
