"Alright, Ms. Harmon," Dr. Sampson said to Talia as she moved around the ultrasound wand across her lower abdomen. "Let's see our little surprise," she smiled while eyeing the screen,

"It's totally cool if there wasn't a surprise too," Talia was a nervous wreck. Being in Dr. Sampson's office, always made her uneasy. Talia  received so much bad news in this room. Now she was back laying down on the same table no where near ready for the news that Dr. Sampson had for her. "No rushing over here."

A loud thumping was then heard around the room, Talia lifted her head up, "Oh god, is the machine broken? What's that noise?" she asked frantically,

"Well, Ms. Hamon, congratulations! We have two little peas in the oven," Dr. Sampson smiled,

"WHAT?!"

"Exciting, isn't it?" Dr. Sampson asked, "Here is baby A and that right there is baby B; looking from the sacs, you are having identical twins."

Talia's eyes followed her finger on the screen as her Dr pointed out where the babies were located in her. "Oh my god," Talia didn't want to look anymore as she dropped her head back down on the table. Whatever Dr. Sampson had to say fell on deaf ears. She was pregnant again, and she was petrified. Talia didn't know if history was repeating itself. Everyone of her pregnancies ended in pain.

"You're about seven weeks along, everything looks good, I'm going to start you on your prenatal—"

"Wait, wait, how can I be pregnant? I pay good money for my birth control. I got this one last year, and it's supposed to last for four years, and after having three miscarriages. The doctor old me—fuck," Talia rambled, "either your lying or machines were broken," she stressed as she sat up.
