Talia instantly removed herself from Aubrey's hold, turning around to face her not-so-happy fiancé. "Hey babe," Talia smiled stepping in front of him. "As crazy as this is but Aubrey got the twins—"

"He shouldn't be here." Rome curtly interjected, causing Talia to sigh heavily. She knew that he had every right to be upset at her ex-husband showing up here tonight. Though deep down Talia hoped that both men could still somehow keep the peace.

"Oh lord it's my daughter's birthday for crying out loud Romulus, please keep your emotions to yourself for now." Wendy pipped in,

Rome's eyes shifted off of Aubrey to Wendy, "darling my emotions are in check," he grinned,

"Gotta love the English, they always seem to know how to be rude without making it sound that way." Wendy snipped tipping her champagne flute in Rome's direction.

"Mom can you not," Talia huffed, 

Wendy rolled her eyes, "they are still my family. I've known these boys since they were ugly struggling to get girls, so I don't know what to tell you or your darling."

"Wendy seriously? He's crazy!" Rome stressed raising his hand in Aubrey's direction.

"Rome—"

"Are you seriously alright with this? Him being here ruining things as he's used to doing?" Rome asked Talia,

"I did not invite them, I don't know what you want me to say. Sadly my mom's right our families are close as you can see," Talia tried to explain to him.

"Don't tell me that, he's only here to be disrespectful love and I can not have that they need to go—"

Aubrey stood by with the guys watching on as everything unfolded before them and for once he had nothing to do with it. At least not yet really. "We're not going anywhere man," Aubrey pipped in, "they just told you, we're family." He said smugly.

"It's either you le—"

Talia saw that look in Rome's eyes, and he was ready for a fight. Everything that has been building up over the past few months had got to him in the worst of ways. If Aubrey wanted to help the situation he would've stayed quiet but why would he? He also had something's to get off of his chest and to him tonight seemed like the perfect time to do so.

Rome tried advancing in Aubrey's direction but Talia had her hand against his chest stopping him. "Romulus we are not doing this here!" She yelled drawing his attention, "Hey, baby look at me," she said placing her palm against his cheek keeping his eyes on her. "Let's go back inside." She pleaded,

"We're not going nowhere!" Aubrey yelled, Chubbs made sure to have security on high alert tonight once he found out that Aubrey wanted to show his face tonight.

Everyone knew that even though he was steady with his medication now that he'd somewhat be in control. Then again they all also knew that didn't matter. This would be the first time that he would be in the same space as the man that was trying to replace him and it would only take the right spark to light the forest fire within him tonight.
