"Um, are you alright, boss lady?"

"Yeah—" Talia said too soon, quickly finding her waste bin emptying the contents of her lunch earlier into it. "No, maybe not so much," she groaned, reaching for her water.

"Damn, you and the girls had a stressful weekend, huh?" Yami giggled, handing her a napkin,

"You have no idea," Talia said, retching into the waste bin again. "This is so gross. I'm sorry," she apologized, taking the napkin from Yami,

"It's all good, boss lady," Yami said, "at least you know it's just from a bad hangover." Talia has been back from Miami for a few days, and her stomach just hasn't been agreeing with her; she couldn't deny either that they had a lot to drink while on their stay.

"Yeah," she grumbles,

"Anyone else would think that you're ass is prego," Yami said, casually scrolling through her Instagram.

"What?!" Talia screeched. She could've sworn she felt her soul leave her body when Yami said that to her.

"No, I'm just saying because the only time I've seen what's been happening to you was when I was pregnant with my baby girl." Yami said to her, "God, I love her, but she was a bitch to carry for eight whole months, but seeing her face for the first time made everything worth it." She smiles,

"That's sweet and all, but I made sure to get the best birth control that the market offers." Talia said, "no babies for me anytime soon," the thought of possibly being pregnant while amid the mess that was going on. She had to deal with Aubrey; she had to deal with her soon-to-be husband, her expanding business, the cameras, it was a lot, and a surprise baby did not fit on the list.

"That's what I said then, boom baby girl," Yami tells her, "well, just try to get some food in you; I got your favorite," Yami smiled, placing a Starbucks bag onto Talia's desk.

"Thank you so much," she pouted, "this is why I need you in London. I might die from overworking."

"We can't wait to move either; the kids are so excited to ride on that damn red school bus they have over there," Yami laughed, "you know the one with the roof,"

"Surely do," Talia giggled,

"Those kids are gonna drive me up the wall in London," Yami sighed at the thought, "anyways, enjoy your food," Yami smiled, heading back out to the front.

"Thank you," Talia called to her from her seat. Talia instantly dug into the bag pulling out her favorite, avocado toast. Yami knew her so well, but it seemed like her stomach had some other plans that involved the waste bin. Yami's words from earlier came back to her mind, "fuck, I can't be," Talia reached for her phone, quickly opening her menstruation app, "I've just been stressed out, and I—" her heart dropped, "oh great," she was late, weeks too late.
