Once Mikasa notices that her feelings were out of control, she decided that she should tell you. She knew it wouldn't be easy but she felt like she should let you know.
"There is... Something I wanted to tell you." She said. You nodded, signaling her to keep going. "Listen, (Y/n). You've been a really good friend to me. But... I..." She trailed off, looking visibly nervous.
That was something you've never seen from Mikasa, knowing she's strong and independent, who barely shows her anxiousness.
"I-I... I love you, (Y/n)." She confessed. You smiled sweetly, showing that you feel the same. Mikasa smiled back, knowing what you wanted to show, and hugged you. "I love you too, Mikasa." You say softly.
