Scenario Fourty Eight: Getting Back Together

It's been a week since you haven't been talking to Mikasa and Eren. Everything was turning out fine as things went back to normal with Armin helping you out.

Until one day, when you went inside your room, you found a single rose lying on your bed.

At first you were confused, thinking it might be someone else who wanted your attention. But as you kept looking at the rose and thought, you thought that it might've been Mikasa.

You told Armin about it, asking him if he had any clue. But sadly he didn't know anything about it.

"Armin, I found a rose on my bed earlier this morning. Do you have any clue on who placed it on my bed?" You asked as you showed Armin the rose.

He only shrugged his shoulders. "I'm sorry (Y/n), but I don't know." He answered.

"What if it might be Mikasa?" You mumble to yourself, which Armin heard.

"Well, you haven't talked to each other for a week. I think it's time that you go back to her. And I think she misses you, too. That's why she gave you the rose." He tells you, making you frown.

"But she cheated on me with Eren. Do you think I'll be able to forgive her that easily?"
Armin then places a hand on your shoulder. "Just give her a chance. Maybe there's a story behind it that you didn't know about. She just didn't have a chance to tell you...?" He reassured.

You sigh, thinking for a bit before answering, "Okay, I'll go to her. Thank you Armin." You thanked him and he only smiled before you walk away from him to find Mikasa.

You went to her room, expecting to see her there but she wasn't. You decided to go back to your room to see if she's there.

When you came inside your room, you saw Mikasa sitting on your bed looking like she had been waiting for you.

"Mikasa-" You weren't able to finish your sentence when Mikasa came up and ran to you, hugging you tightly.

"I'm sorry, (Y/n)... I really am..." She apologized. You hug her back tightly, missing the way she felt.

"Why did you kiss Eren back then?" You asked softly as you rub her back. "I didn't mean to... I-I wasn't thinking back then. I just wasn't myself. I shouldn't have done that... I'm so sorry (Y/n), I hope you can give me another chance." She said, her voice trailing off.

"I miss you so much..." She mumbled as you hear her voice shaking. "Mika..." You pulled away to face her and place your hands on her shoulders. "I forgive you and I... I miss you even more." You said. locking eyes with her.

"And I'm really sorry for yelling at you last time... I just got angry and... Jealous." Mikasa smiled, bringing her hands up to your face cupped your cheeks to caress it with her thumbs.

"No, don't be sorry. I deserve that anyway." Mikasa said. you smiled at her back, placing your hands on top of hers.

She gently pulled you closer and pressed her lips against yours, kissing you. Your hands went down to her shoulders and wrapped your arms around her neck, kissing back.

Mikasa started nibbling your bottom lip, pulling herself closer to you and feeling herself against you.

You pulled away before saying, "I love you so much." "I love you-" Before Mikasa could continue, you kissed her again.

The both of you continued kissing until you ran out of breath and pulled away again, the two of you panting, yet you were still so close to her, the gap between your lips was almost nonexistent.

You looked into her eyes and smiled. She smiled back and said softly against your lips, "I want to start over one more time... And I promise, I won't let us break up again like before..."
