But since the two of you decided to keep your relationship a secret, nobody, not even Eren and Armin knew. So it would also be a pain in the ass.
You and Armin became pretty close that bothered Mikasa. Not that she thinks you could replace her with him, but because Armin was being too excited with you, it bothered her.
Whenever you and Armin would talk about the ocean, Mikasa would go right behind you and glare at Armin that would scare the hell out of him.
You would be confused and see Mikasa standing behind you and not wearing her glare anymore.
"Hmm, is something the matter, Mika?"
"Yeah, Armin was being too excited with you."
"Oh - Uh- thanks, I guess. It's kind of awkward to talk with people who get too excited. It makes me feel weird. Not that I'm complaining about Armin."
"No problem."
".... Wait, were you jealous?"
"...."
"Were you jealous of someone who I don't even like?"
"...."
"Aww, someone's j-"
"Stop."
