I edited this whole chapter because I think I portrayed Mikasa wrongly in this chapter.
At first, Mikasa wouldn't have a reaction because she wouldn't believe that you had actually died.
But once she realized that your life was taken away, the sparkle in her eyes would disappear and she would be greatly devastated.
Though she wouldn't show her emotions thinking that it's not the time to cry, later on she would break down and cry nonstop and not being able to sleep properly without you sleeping beside her.
For the first few days after your death, she would starve herself in grief and distressed that you won't be there for her anymore.
But with the help of Armin and Eren, she brought herself back together again and finally accepted your death.
She realized that you would be hurt knowing that she wouldn't move on. And so she did.
And she would make sure to avenge you.
