- After Eren's death, Mikasa didn't want to act sad around you to not worry you. But even though she tried hiding it, her tears would betray her and fall out.
- Even after you tried telling her that it was okay to express herself, she only shrugged you off.
- Until she finally broke down into your arms.
- She continued ranting on and on about how Eren didn't have to sacrifice himself for everyone, and that there's a part of her that is a bit angry towards him, but she also misses him.
- After that, she would never leave your side.
- You found it adorable that Mikasa would always follow you around.
- I mean, she does since years ago when you became close with her. But now, she was with you every moment in every day.
- But, she always does because she doesn't want to separate from you, and was also paranoid that you would be taken away from her as well.
- Mikasa would always pull you close to her and hug you regardless of the situation.
- She always gestures for head massages only when the both of you are at home. Whenever you did so, she would feel more relaxed.
- And every night before she sleeps, you would hum her a little lullaby while caressing her cheek, like what she would do to you before.
- Talking about Eren in any way won't make things better.
- Because of that one time when you accidentally mentioned his name, you could see her eyes saddening and staying quiet.
- She never gets mad when you slip on the tongue, she just feels really devastated hearing his name in quite a while.
- A few weeks after when Mikasa is feeling a bit okay, she would invite you to little dates, like strolling outside, picnics, or whatever she could think of.
- And maybe sometimes, you'd invite her to dates as well.
- When you found out that she decides to grow her hair longer, you always asked for her permission to brush her hair and play with it sometimes.
- You and Mikasa would spend most of the days sitting under the tree on the hill beside Eren's grave where he was buried.
- The two of you would just sit there in silence while feeling as if Eren's presence was there as well.
