Deep in the jungles hid a high-tech research base dubbed, "Station-0". Inside the densely fortified bunker, Dr. Xin Baogh watched his science staff work on the chemical agent known as VX, or Venomous agent X, from his office. The canister from which the staff emptied the chemicals was painted gray with a red skull and crossbones spray-painted on the side. The words, "UNITED STATES NAVY" were also stenciled on the side. What were they going to use it for?, Baogh thought as he sat down at his desk. VX was considered to be Weapons of Mass Destruction by the UN in 1993 by the Chemical Weapons Convention. Funny they stole it from Americans, "Hypocrites," He said to himself. Xin didn't lie to preserve his conscience. He knew he was a monster.
Doctor Xin Baogh was a former Major General of the People's Liberation Army. He was apart of the highly classified Chemical Weapons Group 247, which tested chemical agents on the civilian population in north-eastern China on the border of Russia, unofficially, of course.
In 2008, CWG 247 was disbanded after an attack by an unknown group of individuals on the research base. Xin strangely remembered them speaking Russian and English, but at the time could have cared less, the only thing he cared about was getting out of there with his precious documents that harbored the effects of the chemical agents on the human body. After escaping, the doctor deserted and was recruited to the Soviet Reunification Front, the name discouraged him to join, but the seven-digit paycheck changed his mind quickly.
Disrupting Baogh's thoughts, there was a knock at his office door. "Come in," Baogh answered as an SRF security officer entered.
"Doctor, General Romavich's man is here." The security guard informed Baogh as he nodded and waved him away. Moments later a man entered the room. The man didn't salute Baogh like the other SRF guards but instead looked out the glass window at the science team. He wasn't wearing an SRF standard uniform, which resembled the Russian Vympel Spetsnaz uniform.
"When is the gas going to be ready?" The man said in his light Russian accent, but it was apparent that he spoke enough English to be passable for an American if he wanted to.
"We are still running tests with R-21. It has promising results." Baogh responded while getting up to look out the window with the man. Baogh watched the figure's jaw clench from frustration.
"Romavich wants the gas soon. You can research all you want as soon as you make the required amount."
"I assure you, the gas will be ready on time, but this new component will devastate the opposition." The man scoffed and shook his head.
"I don't care. Make more. If you don't," The man reached and placed his hand on the handgun in his waistband. "or we'll find someone who will."
Baogh felt a chill down his spine as the figure's black eyes pierced directly into his soul. "O- Of course." Baogh frantically stammered as the figure nodded and walked out of the room. Baogh sighed with relief but soon cringed from the fact that he trembled in fear from some random footsoldier. He then put the pieces together: It was Romavich's lapdog, Caiaphas.

After being able to have some downtime, Archer got a feel for the life in Rainbow, and he was... indifferent to say the least. The only specialists that woke up around the same time as him were the old-timers and some other exceptions. Archer joined the SAS clique on their 7-mile ruck around Hereford at around 6 am, which was jogging in full combat gear around the base. Archer hadn't worked with the SAS much in his career, but he knew their standards were as high as Delta Force's, so he found it somewhat easy to not fall behind.
When the morning briefing was over Archer usually found himself at the shooting range with Timur. Sometimes the operators placed bets on the shooters when they were in a competitive mood. Sharpshooting being his specialty in the Army, Archer still found himself struggling to compete with the Russian.
