"Are you sure it's this one?"

"Absolutely positive," Millie replied as she began to climb out of the car excitedly.

"These hotels aren't cheap." Finn followed suit and shoved the keys into his pocket.

"That's okay, we deserve it for a weekend," Millie insisted as she pulled her bags out of the back seat.

Finn sighed and began to help her, a bit of worry in the back of his head grew slowly as he tried to budget in however much this hotel costed into their monthly bills. He knew he shouldn't worry too much because Millie wasn't stupid; she wasn't going to run them completely broke over a simple weekend trip. He knew she was one to cut it very close though, despite him telling her that they didn't have to spend so much.

Millie practically dragged Finn into the front doors of the hotel, one hand gripping his tightly and her other sporting two bags full of whatever they thought that they would need for the weekend. The doors were made of heavy glass and Finn struggled a bit to open them. Millie immediately went in then, her eyes set on the front desk while Finn held the door for someone that was coming in after them.

"Yes, under Brown," Finn heard Millie speak as he caught up to her.

The clerk typed on his computer as Millie tapped her fingers on the counter impatiently.

"This place is sick," Finn commented under his breath.

Millie watched in amusement as his almost comically large eyes scanned the room. It was pretty amazing, if she had to say so herself. The place was decorated with huge plants and white furniture, the tile on the floor glistening as if it was freshly cleaned only moments before. The ceiling had chandeliers that sparkled hanging down and giving the large lobby a white glow to it.

"Thank you so much, have a nice day," Millie's words brought Finn out of his thoughts and she nudged him to follow her towards the elevator.

The ride was silent for the first few seconds. Finn was quick to break it though.

"There is no way that this place is in our budget."

Millie groaned, "Can we please not worry about the budget for this weekend?"

"I can't help it, I just don't want us to have to scramble to get money together next month," Finn replied as he gave Millie a sorry look.

Millie sighed, "I'm not running us dry, baby. I need you to trust me."

Finn sighed as well and closed his eyes as he ran a hand down his face. He nodded slightly and opened his eyes again before locking them with Millie's.

"You're right. I'm sorry."

Millie gave a small smile and squeezed his hand, "Thank you."

The elevator doors finally opened up and Millie stepped out excitedly she looked left and then right before turning right quickly. Her feet were fast as she read each number on the doors out loud. She finally reached the number she was looking for before slipping the key card into the slot carefully. Just as she opened the door Finn had finally caught up a bit out of breath.

Millie smiled widely as she peered in, "Are you ready?"

Finn shrugged, "I'm going to have to be."

Millie dropped her bags and cupped his face. She moved one hand up and pressed on his eyebrows lightly with her thumb.

"Stop worrying, it's a weekend for us to be together. We can worry about everything else later. For now, it's just me and you," she spoke softly as she ran her thumb over his eyebrow to soothe it out.
