"Look."
Finn peered over the table and raised an eyebrow at Millie. She pointed to her stomach and held it lovingly.
"It's a food baby," she laughed.
Finn smiled and patted his own stomach, "We're having twins then."
"I don't think they'd qualify as twins," Millie laughed.
"If they're both from us then why not?" Finn grew offended immediately.
Millie bit her lip, "Twins are usually in the womb together."
"Well..." Finn trailed off and thought about what he had said, "Our twins are special."
"Our metaphorical twins," Millie laughed.
Finn nodded immediately, "Right. No kids for us right now..."
"...But?" Millie raised her eyebrows suggestively.
"But I wouldn't mind them in the future," Finn said simply, "when we're married and living in a house with Moody and Oatie."
Millie smiled and placed her head on her hand, "Married?"
Finn nodded, "All in good time."
Millie smirked, "I'll look forward to it."
She grabbed her card away from the receipt and started to sign it.
"Did you already pay?" Finn snatched the paper away from her.
She bit her lip and nodded, "You planned dinner, I pay. It is still my day."
He huffed, "That's not how it works."
Millie nodded, "That is definitely how it works."
Finn groaned but nodded anyway as they both started to get up. He placed a few bills on the table and held his hand out for Millie to take.
"I don't think I can walk," Millie sighed as they got outside the small restaurant.
Finn started to shake his head quickly. He knew exactly what she was implying and she popped out her bottom lip as if it were second nature to her. Her eyes seemingly grew two sizes and her face practically morphed into a puppy's as she looked up at him.
"Please?"
"No."
"Please?"
"No."
"Please?"
Finn let out a groan and Millie smiled in triumph as Finn turned his back to her and squatted down slightly. He looked back at her and held his arms out.
"On three or-"
"Or you'll drop me, I know," Millie laughed and rolled her eyes.
Finn counted to three and Millie hopped onto his back awkwardly. He struggled for a couple seconds as he stood up straight and started to walk.
"I'm not going to last long," Finn breathed out as they made their way back to the hotel.
It was only a couple blocks down and yet Finn was already struggling to cross one street. He never really excelled in the strength area but he was always so determined to prove himself wrong.
"You'll make it," Millie rolled her eyes with a smile.
She knew he wasn't going to make it but she liked to make him think that he could. The fact that he was even willing to carry her at all was something in itself that made her happy. He hated any physical activity (hence the non-stop complaining during their entire hike) and she was lucky to get him to agree to it.
