"I'm so nervous."

Louis nodded in agreement with Millie's words. He felt nervous too and it wasn't even his situation. He had been so involved with it lately though that he couldn't help the anxiety that played around in his chest for the past couple of days.

"It'll be quick, and maybe the doctor will tell you that you aren't even preg-with...child," he offered in an attempt to cheer Millie up. He knew that word made her even more nervous so he tried his best to avoid it in an attempt to keep her calm.

She didn't want to be pregnant. She wanted nothing more for this to be a scare and for the doctor to tell her that she was just imagining all of her symptoms. She knew that wasn't going to happen though. After so many tests she knew it had to be true. Everything led to this and she knew it.

"Yeah I think I've come to the terms with the fact that I'm with...," she trailed off and rolled her eyes, "There's no need to act like I'm not."

"Yeah but still, I know that yo-"

"You guys are good to go," Louis was cut off by their manager.

Millie glanced up towards the clock. Neither of them had even realized that they were fifteen minutes over their shift. They grabbed their things quickly and then they were on their way out the door.

"How far is this place?" Louis asked as they made their way to the back parking lot.

Millie pulled her phone up, "About fifteen minutes. It's not far, we just might run into some traffic."

Louis nodded. He felt sort of odd about this whole thing but he wasn't going to tell Millie that. If she wanted comfort then that was the least he could do. He couldn't fight the fact that he knew it should be Finn here though. It was unfair to him and Louis knew that. He could feel the guilt starting to eat away at him slowly. This wasn't his girlfriend. This wasn't his kid.

He looked over to Millie who was concentrating on the road. Her eyebrows were furrowed and her bottom lip was sucked in as if she were deep in thought. Her knuckles were starting to turn white because of the tight grip she had on the steering wheel.

"Millie?"

Her head snapped right and he raised his eyebrows, "Are you okay?"

It was a stupid question and he knew it. They both did really. She nodded her head yes anyway though and let out a sigh.

"I just feel super nervous. I don't know what to expect and after this I have to tell Finn."

She was honest with her words. Her biggest worry was Finn and the inevitable moment when she would have to break the news to him.

"He'll understand." Louis felt like all he had been doing lately was reassuring Millie.

"And if he doesn't?" Millie shot back.

"Then he will eventually. You shouldn't be scared of Finn," he replied.

Millie shook her head, "I'm not scared of Finn, I'm scared of his reaction."

"Well you shouldn't be scared of his reaction either. He may be upset but what's the worst he could do?" Louis tried to reassure her.

She didn't even want to think of the worst.

Before they knew it, they had arrived at their destination and Millie parked the car with her heart beating out of her chest. Her hands stayed on the wheel and she stared straight ahead as she tried to think of anything else besides the reason that they were here.

"Are we...going to go in?" Louis questioned.

Millie sighed, "I don't know if I can."

"What? We're already here though," he replied with raised eyebrows.
