My big mouth gets me into a lot of situations where often times I find myself stuck in and unable to climb out of. I know I've been having the means to give Armin what he wants but how would I do it?

My head loomed with these thoughts as I walked back to my office; I could swear I feel a migraine coming on. I honestly didn't feel like being at work today but my house won't pay itself. Of course Hangi could always quit eating everything and Erwin could go somewhere else if he desperately needs to have sex with his skank girlfriend. But hey, I tolerate them because they tolerate me.

I plopped down in my chair, staring at my computer screen as it synced with all the incoming emails. My stomach grumbled loudly, reminding me I skipped breakfast. I sighed, spinning in my chair; maybe dizziness will make me forget. Or maybe I'm bubbly from yesterday with Rebecca and now I'm going to make myself hurl. I kicked my chair in circles, spinning faster each time until my ankle smacked into the desLike,ard.

"Fuck!" I exclaimed in pain, rubbing my ankle. "That hurt..."

When I sat up, I saw Rebecca walking towards the mailbox. She was talking to someone while stuffing her hand into an empty slot. "Rebecca," I called, catching her attention, "If your getting Arlert's mail, I did that already."

She looked into the slot, seeing as it was empty, and ended her other conversation, approaching my room. "So I have a question." I began to shed my blazer, draping it over the back of my chair, "This date thing. Do I have to, you know... Like, dress up?"

I looked at her oddly, shrugging, "I personally don't care. It's only a first date."

Her shoulders fell as she sighed, "Good. I'm not a dress kinda gal..."

"Well, dressing up doesn't have to mean a dress." I informed, "Female suits exist."

"Really?" She said. I was reading an email from Mr. Okajima, who I hadn't seen for a while cone to think of it. Meeting Requested the subject line read. I never like emails that start with that; rarely do they mean a good thing when I'm involved.

"Oh, Rebecca," I turned my attention away from the unnerving email, "What time are we going for tomorrow?"

She shrugged, giving me a blank expression, "What time are you free?"

"Eight." I responded plainly. She looked downward in thought, "We could leave after work then." I nodded in agreement as Sasha called her away.

When she left, I continued reading the string of emails from Okajima. Absence Notices, Deadlines, Corrections; these different headings made me all the more nervous about the meeting. But I had to respond anyway. Apparently, he had to leave town to talk to his boss and will be back tomorrow. He wanted me to confirm a time: 7:30 or 8:00, PM that is.

7:30pm is a doable time for me. I have a previous engagement coinciding with the 8:00pm.

I hope with my hateful heart that this isn't a two weeks notice, as per most other jobs I've served. This was the longest I've held a job actually. I've been here for ten years, come next week. That is, depending in how merciful he'll be. Other than my lateness, what else could he fire me for? Actually, I know exactly what he could fire me for. But he doesn't that yet.

I pulled up the more important work that I was supposed to be doing. Sending documents to printers and readying them for publishing. I guess I'll be praying tonight that I hold this job, at least for the slightest bit longer.
