Levi's Perspective

Outside, the weather was still a stinging cold. It didn't bother me much, since I preferred the cold weather. The snow had stopped, luckily. I followed Armin to his car, pressing the unlock button on the key and putting his bags in the back seat. I shed my coat, tossing it in the back as well.

"Alright, what's your address?" I asked, getting into the driver's seat next to his passenger seat.

When I looked over, he was blowing into his hands shivering rather violently, "Thirty Twenty T-T-Two..."

"Okay, you know what? Never mind." I said impatiently, turning the car on. The air vents instantly began to blow heat through the car, and practically magnetizing Armin's hands to the vents.

His phone was still in my pocket. I took it out and turned it on, seeing that it was passworded. The first thought was to try 0000. But that was, perhaps, cliché. Instead I tried 2580, which happened to work. I went to his GPS first to see if his home function was set. To my luck, it was.

It sounded like Armin was removing his coat by the sound of the swish of fabric. "Warm yet?" I asked as I put his address into my phone.

"Yea, a little." He said, this time without a stutter.

I took the leisure of putting my phone number in his phone and vise versa. "Good, good." The voice of my phone's GPS started to speak after pressing the navigate button. I pulled out of the parking lot and onto the main road. "I bet you're awake now, after that cold bite."

"For now, when I get home I'll probably crash as soon as I step over my threshold." He joked.

I smirked, "Hungry?" He shook his head. I didn't really believe that, considering I only saw him eat a few cookies. "How are you not hungry? I didn't see you eat much today."

"Well, I had a yogurt and some cookies but I don't really have a big appetite." He said, just as his stomach rumbled.

"Someone doesn't agree with you. Just say you're hungry." I goaded, knowing that clearly he was famished.

"Okay, I could go for a snack or two but I don't want you spending your money on me, Mr. Ackerm-... Levi."

I sighed, pulling into the parking lot of a 7-11. "Well, I would like to get a snack or two. Or three or four, if you'd like me to get you anything."

I glanced at him. He was looking at his hands, twiddling with his thumbs. "Could I just come in with you? I'm not sure exactly what I want."

"If you'd like. Do you want your coat?" I asked, shoving my phone into my pocket.

He squealed a small and simple “Yes” before I reached behind my seat and grabbed his thick coat and handed it to him. I turned off the car and put the key in my pocket before walking over to his door and opening it for him. “You didn’t have to open the door for me, you know.” He mentioned as he stepped out.

I shut it behind him, shrugging his statement off, “It’s what I’m accustomed to. Courtesy isn’t a gender thing, in my head.” I responded bleakly.

The both of us went into the store. It was relatively warmer inside, but still cold; it was a lot less cold than outside, or so I could see in Armin’s easiness and lack of shivering. I pulled my phone out of my pocket, seeing I received a response to my earlier text message I sent to my roommate. “Hey, uh, can I like pick up whatever I want or do I have a selection?” Armin asked from an aisle over as I replied to my text. “You get what you feel will suit your appetite, Armin.” I spoke, too focused on my phone to lift my head.
