Armin's Perspective

"This is your place?" I said, setting my jacket on the coat rack near the front door.

"Yea, it's not much but it's not too little either." Levi said, shedding his jacket as well, "Make yourselves comfortable while I change."

I nodded as he disappeared into his bedroom. There was a slight shove at my shoulder, "You gonna go in or let me stand in the hall?"

I stepped aside, mumbling "sorry" before Rebecca went passed me, paying more attention to her phone than where she was walking. I shut the door after her.

There were pictures decorating the walls and a well organized kitchenette to the corner with a bar-like setup. The colors of the front room complemented one another very well, all the way down the the picture framings. Opposite the picture wall was a shelf with a few trophies, and under the shelf, framed certificates. Some older and some newer, but most were to Actor Man; Levi's name was nowhere on the paper.

The door began to rattle with key jingles before a brunette woman with glasses entered. She looked from me to Rebecca confusedly before seeming to have a realization and hugging me rather tightly. "You must be Armin!" She shouted.

I tried to slip my hands free, "Yea, and you are?"

"I probably should've warned you guys about her," Levi said, appearing from his bedroom in an actual suit (not jeans), "But I didn't think she'd be home this early."

"Pfft, let's skip to the intros, shall we?" The woman said eagerly. "I'm Hanji Zoë, Levi's housemate. Pleasure to meet you" she held out her hand.

"Armin Arlert, but you knew that I'll assume," I shook her hand weakly, creeping myself out at the thought of her already knowing my name. "That one over there, who's glued to her phone screen with the pink hair is Rebecca."

"How many times have I said this isn't pink?" Rebecca finally looked up from her phone to respond, "It's magenta."

"Isn't that a pink?" Hanji whispered. I nodded but didn't respond as Rebecca just refocused to her phone. "Well, why is everyone dressed up? Is this a double date or something?"

"I never told you about the Bodt thing?" Levi said, fixing his tie in the mirror (for the fifth time).

"What Bodt thing!" She yelled right in my ear. I cringed at the shrill noise, stepping away from her.

"I hate bow ties so much but I hate your yelling much more, Hanji" he complained, giving up on the tie. I stepped over to fix it for him.

"I'll guess you know who Marco Bodt is, so I'll skip that explanation." I set the lace around Levi's flipped collar, "As you should know, your house mate is a well known underground author. He and Dr. Bodt had a chat the other day and now, the three of us are to have a meeting with him."

Hanji shrieked very sharply, enough to make Rebecca have a reaction. "Oh my goodness! Why didn't you tell me! Can I be your financial advisor?"

I chuckled, "Was I this bad?" I asked Levi, giving his outfit a once over. He shook his head, "Your shriek was louder. Mainly because we were in a car." I chuckled, fixing his shirt and jacket before approving of his outfit.

"Maybe you can be in the pictures or something, you and Erwin both." Levi said grabbing his fedora from the coffee table.

"Oh my stars, I'm going to explode!" Hangi took her phone out of her pocket but Levi quickly took it from her and passed it to me.

"However," he continued, "No one is to know until further notice. Alright?" Her face melted into a pout, "Alright?" She nodded, managing to maintain her smile before I handed her the phone. "We'll probably be back in a few hours."

"Alright, good luck!" Hangi said. She scampered off elsewhere in the apartment.

Levi sighed, running a hand through his hair. "Nervous?" I asked him and he nodded. I smiled, squeezing his shoulders and kissing his cheek, "You shouldn't be. He already thinks highly of you, I'm sure." He grinned, squeezing my hand. "Rebecca," I called but she was too engrossed in her phone to respond. I walked over and snatched it from her grip, "We're leaving, let's go!"

She grabbed at it like a cat and yarn before realizing I wouldn't return it until we were in the car and on our way to the meeting. My own stomach is turning to know I get to meet my number one role model in person. And because of how proud of my number two role model I am. This meeting will be great, I know it.
