"mom there's a weird freaking cat outside"

I decided to draw this one-year-old OC of mine, made this at around the start of 2020. I've been meaning to draw this kitty for awhile- Yes they're an LN OC, a few inches taller than a nome. 

The OC's name is Creature, yeah so creative ik. They're also a female.

The quills were such a little nightmare to draw.

For me, like most of my drawings in my eyes, came out as a "Reality vs Expectations" my expectations looked much better than this but hey I am proud of that cat pose. 

Now I do have a little story about this OC, I roleplayed as this character only once in my entire life. It was a camp roleplay, children surviving in the woods together against monsters and other stuff. Always having/setting up a camp wherever they stopped.

This blind little girl in the group grabbed Creature from the woods, took her back to the camp, named her Mr. Fancy Cat, and then proceed to adopt them without much say for the other campers (players were fine with it tho.).

I remember everyone trying to convince the girl that Mr. Fancy Cat was not a cat but some monstrous creature they should probably get rid of, but she was oblivious. When she felt Creature/Mr. Fancy Cat's quills she was like "ah yes this must be the superior cat breed from up north."

so then thanks to the little girl they were stuck with this feral cat. They would always cause trouble when the blind girl wasn't around but when the blind girl was around they'd be such a little angel.
