The next day, school was off. Yuri chose to stay at the library after breakfast. Many of the boys suggested playing football, but she rejected. She wasn't much of a sportsperson.

"What are you gonna read today? More murder mysteries?" came a voice from behind Yuri, as she was looking through the shelves.

It was Asahi. He was holding a sketchbook, and a big purple book under it, along with a pencil in his hand.

"No. Today, I'm gonna try other things. What have you got there?"

She looked curiously at the books in Asahi's hand.

"That's my sketchbook, where I draw, and that's my spell book."

"Spell book?"

"Yeah, it has all kinds of spells used in dark magic. It also has some myths and legends in it."

"Wow! Can I take a look?"

Asahi hesitated. He didn't trust her enough to give The Book to her.

"I can show it to you."

Yuri tried to hide her smile, guessing what Asahi was thinking.

They sat at a table beside each other, and Asahi opened his book. It looked quite old, parched, and yellowish. It was also handwritten, and Yuri could see that Asahi added his own notes.

She was looking through the pages, when suddenly she fell on the chapter talking about the pool with the golden liquid. Yuri read the paragraph with interest.

The liquid was called Elixir. If a person drank the liquid, they would have to drink it every 24 hours, or else they lose their powers. It was also written that if a person drank it, they would not be able to leave the island.

"Hey, Asahi, yesterday you didn't explain why a person dies when they leave the island if they drink the Elixir."

Asahi seemed really flattered that Yuri asked him this question, and he felt quite proud explaining it to her.

"Actually, the island is on top an immensely powerful magical field. The Elixir is like lava. It comes out of a volcano which is deep down in the earth, under the cave. The lava in the volcano has magical properties, which prolongs the consumer's life. But it's temporary, so you need to drink it every day. You can die if you leave the island because the Elixir is attracted to the magical field. If you leave it, the Elixir will try to get out of your body. Result: you would explode!"

He made a weird noise, trying to imitate the explosion, and made Yuri laugh.

The door opened, and Junkyu came in.

"Hey, guys! Are you having fun without me?" he asked, with his incredibly loud voice.

"I was just showing Yuri my spell book."

"Ah," Junkyu smiled. "I was boring myself, staying with Jeongwoo and Haruto, who are having a debate on how many hairs people can have on their head."

"As expected from them," giggled Yuri, who was very fond of the two 17-year-olds.

"Hey, wanna see something cool?" said Junkyu suddenly, his eyes sparkling with excitement.

"Huh?"

"Look!"

Junkyu held out his palm, and a ball of water appeared on it. It was literally a ball. And it flew.

Yuri's eyes widened, and she took a step towards Junkyu, and reached out her hand to touch the water ball.

It felt like a water balloon except that you could put your hand inside it, which made it feel like slime.

Junkyu smiled at Yuri's surprised expression.

"So cute!" he thought.

Then he rolled his hand into a fist, making the water ball explode. Water sprayed over Yuri, shocking her.

"What the hell?!"

"HAHAHA!"

Even Asahi chuckled.

"Oh, you are so getting it now," said Yuri, with a sinister smirk, which alarmed Junkyu.

Slowly, weeds and vines started to approach Junkyu, and, in the end, they were holding him, 4 feet off the ground.

"Hey!" Junkyu yelled.

The other two took no notice.

"Hey Asahi hyung! The others are looking for you!" came Doyoung's voice from near the door.

Before the others could reply, Doyoung exclaimed:

"Wow! Now that's what I call awesome, noona!"

Junkyu glared at him.

Yuri giggled, then gently let Junkyu down.

"Well, actually, we are going to have lunch, that's why I came here," Doyoung explained.

"Ok, we are coming," replied Asahi, piling up his things, then followed Doyoung out of the library, leaving Junkyu and Yuri in the room.

"Sorry for bursting that thing, it was just a joke," apologised Junkyu, looking guilty.

"I know!" Yuri flashed a smile, then walked to the door. "Come on, let's go!"
