Yuri's POV
We buried Jisoo unnie in the forest, in a spot where there were a lot of flowers, and I covered her with the weeds and vines, and in front of her grave, with some sticks, I wrote:
Here lies Kim Jisoo, a beloved and loving friend
May your soul rest in peace
The walk home was really tiring, but that hardly mattered. We were all safe, and I wasn't scared anymore. I felt a wave of gratitude and love towards my friends.
When we reached the Academy, everybody went back into their rooms, really tired and still shocked by the surprising happening of the last few days.
At dinner, we hardly talked. Afterwards, most of the boys headed to the library, and a few went back to their rooms.
I was still doing the dishes, as it was my turn this week. As I was in the kitchen alone, when I heard a noise behind me, I was surprised. I glanced behind me, and found Jihoon standing there.
"Here, let me help," he said, and took the cleaning sponge from me, before I could say anything.
He was right, I was really tired. Who wouldn't be, after those crazy happenings?
"Thanks a lot..." I said, and smiled at him.
He smiled back.
When he had finished, we sat down together in the living room.
"You okay?" he asked.
"Hmm... I just feel really bad for Jisoo unnie... I mean we should have listened before..."
"Yeah, I know. But don't blame yourself, it was us who didn't believe it!"
I shrugged. I remembered what Jiwon had told me before about my parents, and tears filled my eyes. Jihoon noticed that and asked about it. I explained everything to him, and I saw him clenching his fists whenever I said Jiwon's name.
"I'm really sorry you had to listen all of it," he said, in a gentle voice.
I shook my head, and said, "It's all in the past now."
He smiled. "Yeah, let him burn in hell!"
We both climbed up the stairs to go back to our rooms, and just before he turned around to go to his room, I called his name.
"Jihoon..."
"Yeah?"
"I like you"
Wow, I did it. I just confessed to my crush. God knows how he'll react. Please say yes...
His expression changed. Not negatively, but his smile wasn't there anymore. I started blushing like crazy.
Shit! I bet he's really uncomfortable right now. Well done, Kang Yuri! You don't even know how to confess well! Ugh, screw myself!
"Huh?"
"I have feelings for you..."
C'mon dude, say something! What's with the expressionless face? You look like a ghost!
Suddenly, he slapped his forehead, and started laughing. I was surprised. Was he laughing at me?
"What's so funny?" I snapped.
He quickly assured me, "Oh, you're misunderstanding me! I'm not laughing at you, I'm laughing at myself! I wanted to confess first, but you did it! Heck, why would laugh at you? I love you, Yuri-ah!"
My heart skipped a beat. What did he just say?
I widened my eyes and tried to say something, but it was like I had lost my voice.
He laughed at this reaction and patted my head, saying:
"You're really cute, do you know that?"
Wow, did he just call me cute?
"Good night, Yuri-ah"
"G-good night..." I stuttered.
He giggled again, then gave me a hug, before waving at me, and going back to his room.
After entering my room, I flopped on my bed, took my pillow, buried my face in it, and screamed in it joyfully.
Hopefully, nobody heard me!
No one's POV
The next morning, at breakfast, Hyunsuk explained to everybody the changes that were to occur now. As Jiwon was gone, there would be no "Academy" left. Hyunsuk had decided that it was time they did what they had planned to do for a long time.
"I don't understand," said Yuri, puzzled.
Asahi explained that they had recently found out that there might be other magical beings in hiding, and that the boys had planned to go find them and bring them to the island so that they could live safely.
"And that means that we would travel around the world in search of them..." said Hyunsuk.
"When will we start the journey?" said Jaehyuk.
"Two days from now, so that we have enough time to pack," replied Junkyu.
They all agreed.
They all knew it was going to be difficult, but they were also excited. They would go places they had only heard of in stories, and now they'll be able to see those in real life!
But the happiest was Yuri. Because she had found her new family, and she was going on another adventure with them. She didn't know what awaited them outside, but knew that they were going to be just fine, now that they are together...
