Chapter 19

Yuri's POV

I woke up on the floor of a really cold room. There was little light in the room, which came through a tiny window with metal bars like in a prison.

I was still feeling a bit nauseous, so I sat up slowly. I looked around, trying to recognize the place, but in vain.

Suddenly, I remembered what had happened just before I fainted, and quickly stood up. I tried to use my powers to break the window bars with any vines or branches outside, but I didn't have enough energy in me to do it.

"HEY! IS ANYONE THERE? HELP ME!" I yelled, cupping my hands around my mouth.

I don't think anyone heard me from outside, but there was a violent clicking sound from behind me, so I rushed to the corner, and rolled up in a ball to hide.

There was a sound of a door opening, then I heard a sneer.

"Nobody's gonna hear you, sweetie! Just be a good girl, and save us some trouble! You are just going to wear yourself out by screaming so much..." It was Ms. Lee's voice.

"Where am I?" I shouted.

She chuckled, "A place where your friends won't find you."

"What did you do to Jisoo?"

"Oh, nothing much, just a little hit on the head hard enough to knock her out." She laughed again.

She was starting to get on my nerves. I saw some light behind her, and figured that I would be in some building. I got up, and ran towards her and tried to push her out of the way, but I was too weak to do it, so she pushed me back, making me fall on my butt.

"Tsk tsk tsk..." she clicked her tongue and slammed the door behind her.

No one's POV

"Oh my god! Jisoo noona!" Hyunsuk kneeled down, and shook Jisoo, trying to wake her up.

The latter groaned and slowly opened her eyes.

"What happened?" Jihoon asked.

"I don't know... Chaerin was there... She said something, and then hit me..."

"It's ok, noona, take your time," Mashiho assured her.

"Just not until sunset," mumbled Haruto, instantly getting glares from the others.

A few moments later, when Jisoo seemed to remember what had happened, she exclaimed, "Oh no, they've got Yuri!"

The others were alarmed, and asked her how.

"Chaerin was following us, and she hit me, and I think after that, she kidnapped Yuri. But let's just hope it's not true!" 

"Doesn't Ms. Lee know that she'll die? Why is she doing it?" asked Junghwan, puzzled.

Junkyu shrugged. "Maybe cuz she's a loyal psycho!"

Asahi spoke up, "How do you think we'll find them now?"

"They can't leave the island, so they've got to be somewhere in the forest, because they would think that we are in the academy," said Jisoo.

"We have to search the whole forest then," gasped Yedam.

"No, I can do that," suggested Junghwan.

"Yeah, but they are certainly not just in some treehouse or something!" said Jaehyuk.

"Ok, I'll search as well as I can," replied Junghwan.

He turned around and started running through the whole forest, checking here and there. The others gathered around, and made plans on what to do when they find the culprits and Yuri.

A few moments later, Junghwan came back, out of breath. He said, "I think I found their hiding place."

The others listened intently.

"There's a spot in the forest not too far from here, you know, where the bluebells bloom? There's a weird sound coming constantly from there, and I think we could check it."

The others agreed, and Junghwan led them to that place.

There was a loud knock on the door, making Yuri wake up. She had fallen asleep before when Chaerin (Ms. Lee) had abandoned her.

"Hey! Rise and shine!" Her voice was so irritating, that Yuri cupped her hands on her ears before saying, "Oh, just shut up!"

The door opened and she came in. She grabbed Yuri by the arm, and dragged her out of the room, along a dark, narrow corridor, to a big room with much more light and warmth, where she threw her on the floor.

Yuri groaned and sat up. She saw a person standing in front of her, but didn't lift her head.

"Oh, Yuri! I'm so glad you came here!" 

She instantly recognized the voice: Jiwon.

"Are you sure this is the spot, Junghwan?" asked Yoshi.

"Yeah, hyung! Listen! Can you hear the weird whirring sound coming from there?" He pointed to a bush.

The others went near it and looked around. After a lot of searching, Hyunsuk concluded that the noise was coming from a tree.

He ran his hand along the bark, and suddenly felt something cold. Like metal. He looked at it. It was a button.

When he pushed it, the bark opened, revealing what looked like a narrow elevator.

"Guys! Look what I found!"
