"David Rossi is my father?" she screeched as she glared at the people who glanced over at her. "yes." her mother muttered through the phone as she knew she messed up as she didn't tell her daughter that someone she worked with was her father.
Elizabeth sucked in a breath, "does he... know?" she asked as she stepped through the doors to go over to her desk before sitting down. "i don't think so, his old partner did but i don't think he told him." her mother explained how Jason Gideon knew but kept it from his partner and friend.
"i was thinking of inviting him over to dinner." Ivy suggested.
Elizabeth chuckled as she leaned back but she looked over when she saw her boyfriend standing a few feet in front of her, "case." he mouthed as he walked to the briefing room. "hey mum, i have to go. i have a case." she bid her mother a goodbye before hanging up, and making her way to the briefing room.
"sorry." she apologised to her boss when she sat down.
Elizabeth opened her tablet, and waited for Penelope to start the briefing. "we have two dead families." she explained as all looked on tablet as Garcia introduced them all. "we have the Millers and the Crawfords." Hotch looked up from his tablet to explain how all the victims had died.
"wheels up in ten." the boss stood up and left the room.
When Elizabeth looked up, she saw that Rossi was still in the room with her. "what's wrong with you?" his question shocked the young agent. "nothings wrong." she gave the male a tight smile, "you kept staring at me in briefing, there is definitely something up." he walked over to the female who stood straighter as he stopped in front of her.
"fine." she muttered. "you're my biological father." she blurted out before looking at the ground.
Elizabeth looked up when she heard her father cough, "i did have a suspicion, you look like Ivy." he smiled as he walked closer to his daughter, "you have my smile and eyes." he commented before he embraced the girl in a hug. "i know i wasn't there for you in your twenty nine years of existing but i will be there for you until i die." he muttered something in Italian.
"we gotta go." they looked over to the door where JJ stood.
Elizabeth and Rossi back away from each other, and walked over to where the rest of the team is. "at least it is only five hours to Cali." she laughed as the team went their separate ways to travel to the tarmac. "what was you and Rossi speaking about?" JJ asked her friend, and this made her boyfriend glance over at her from the driving seat.
"family problems." she shrugged as she glanced over at the window.
Within ten minutes, all had arrived onto the plane and were seated in their seats which was a sign to give the pilot the go ahead to lift them off the ground. "are you going to tell me what happened between you and Rossi?"she looked up to see Derek sitting opposite her.
