It had been ten months since the new arrival of Kate, but it felt like a year since she came to replace the blonde. "good morning baby mamma!" Elizabeth smiled as she stood outside Kate's door to give her a lift to work as she was seven months pregnant.
"Hi Liz." she smiled as the brunette agent waved around her friend to give Chris a wave who was getting his stuff ready to leave for work.
Elizabeth smiled at Meg who pushed past her aunt and the agent, and over to her best friend mums car to give her a lift to school. "bye Meg!" Kate yelled as her niece didn't respond.
"it's her teenage stage!" The pregnant agent reassured herself as she gave Chris a kiss goodbye before the two agents left themselves.
Elizabeth and Kate climbed into the agent's jeep before they left for the office. "thankfully it is just a paperwork day today." Kate nodded in agreement as none of the BAU agents were in the right mind frame to go onto another case as they were all too tired.
"Derek kept waking me up!" Elizabeth muttered as both females left the elevator where they were met by Emily who was carrying two coffees and a tea. "you are a lifesaver, Emily Prentiss!" Elizabeth moaned when the hot liquid went down her throat.
The three BAU agents entered through the doors and went to their respective desks before starting with their paperwork. "i feel like i'm going to collapse from being too tired!" the brunette agent moaned as she rubbed her forehead.
"Derek again?" she looked up to see Spencer starting on a new file. "yeah." she muttered.
Eight Hours Later.
"i'll drive you home, Kate." Elizabeth smiled when they were all packing up to go home when Kate's happy face turned to a confused one.
"what's up?" Elizabeth walked over to her friend.
"Because of my line of work, me and Chris made Meg have a safe word just in case something happened." Kate explained. "It is only half of the safe word, it might of been a mistake." she told herself as she walked away, trying to call her niece.
Elizabeth and Emily were the only two left as they stayed to finish off paperwork. "straight to voicemail." Kate looked over to her friends. "wasn't she supposed to be with Markayla tonight?" Elizabeth spoke to Kate who nodded.
"i'll call her mum." Kate went and done this.
"Hi! is Meg with you?" she asked but the response she got wasn't the one Kate was hoping for. "she told me she was studying at your house." Markayla's mum told Kate.
