Next morning, it's 06:00 in the morning and Melody is still asleep. I stand up and grab some clothes and put them by Melody on and lift her up and give her the teddybear and walk with her to my car, everyone sleeps and doesn't notice us. I open my car and lay Melody down on the back seating and drive away ' i going to protect you honey and after that i going pick up your mommy i promise, you going be save ' i say and enter the high way and put on the radio on a soft volume to not wake up Melody. A few houres later and i drive to a gas station and park my car at the side of the street and turn to Melody, it's 07:00 in the morning and i start to get a little hungry. I touch Melody softly and she groans ' honey are you hungry? ' i ask and Melody wakes up slowly ' you hungry honey? ' i ask and look at her ' where is mommy? ' Melody asks sleepy and i sigh ' mommy will come later hm honey ' i say ' is she alright? ' Melody asks sleepy ' yes she is honey ' i say and Melody nods sleepy ' where are we? ' Melody asks sleepy ' we're at the gas station honey ' i say and Melody looks at me sleepy and than at her teddybear ' why is Teddy here too? ' Melody asks sleepy ' he couldn't sleep and wanted to stay close to you hm honey ' i say and Melody smiles sleepy ' he is my best friend ' Melody says sleepy and i smile ' he sure is honey, i going get us some food hm, do you want something too? ' i say and Melody looks at me sleepy and nods and i step out of the car and open her door and lift her up and walk into the shop of the gas station and grab some food and drinks and pay them and walk back to the car and put Melody back in the back seats and give her some of the food and the drinks and go sit back in the front seat and we eat our foods and drinks ' if mommy comes, you have to tell her that you love her ' Melody says sleepy and i smile ' i'll tell her that honey ' i say ' mommy does love you too, i'm pretty sure ' Melody says and i grin ' you think so honey? ' i ask ' yes, it's in her eyes as she look at you ' Melody says and i look at her and smile and than my phones ring and i grab him and look who is calling ' damn it ' i say ' is that mommy? ' Melody asks and looks at my phone and than at me ' no honey that's not mommy ' i say and go with one hand through my hair ' who is that than? ' Melody asks and i look at her ' someone i don't like to talk with honey ' i say ' can i talk to that person? ' Melody asks ' no honey ' i say and Melody looks at me ' is that person dangerous? ' Melody asks and i look at her ' yes that person is very dangerous ' i say and Melody looks at me ' does he hurt mommy too? ' Melody asks ' no honey ' i say and Melody looks at me ' why don't you wanna talk to him? ' Melody asks and i look at her ' i don't like him honey ' i say and my phones goes again and i groan ' honey i going pick up alright, don't say anything alright Melody ' i say and Melody nods scared and i pick up ' yes Elayh speaking ' i say ' Elayh!, my friend!, how is it going? ' Bruce says ' Bruce what do you want? ' i ask ' i just want to talk to my friend ' Bruce says ' we were never friends Bruce, so what you want? ' i say and Bruce sighs ' alright, i heard about that girl and her child ' Bruce says ' what's with them? ' i ask and Bruce laughs ' don't tell me you didn't hear about them ' Bruce says ' no i didn't ' i say ' hm, so you can't tell me where they are ' Bruce says ' no i can't ' i say ' that's too bad, i thought your friends would tell you about them ' Bruce says ' yeah some people don't mind me walking around ' i say and Bruce laughs ' poor you, nice talking to you again Elayh, but sorry i have to go ' Bruce says ' yeah same, bye ' i say ' bye friend ' Bruce says and i hang up and look at Melody ' good girl honey ' i say and smile and Melody smiles too ' who was that? ' Melody asks ' his name is Bruce ' i say ' is he your friend? ' Melody asks ' no he isn't honey, he isn't nice ' i say and Melody looks at me ' i can't talk to him right?, cause he is dangerous right? ' Melody asks and looks at me ' yes that's right honey, he is dangerous just like those men who hurt mommy ' i say ' yes they are bad people too ' Melody says and lays back down ' i'm a little tired ' Melody says sleepy and i look at her ' you can sleep till we are there honey ' i say ' Elayh? ' Melody asks sleepy ' yes honey? ' i say and smile at her ' you going marry mommy when she comes? ' Melody asks sleepy and i grin ' do you want me to marry mommy honey? ' i ask ' yes ' Melody says sleepy and i smile ' i'll marry mommy when she comes honey ' i say and start driving again and Melody smiles sleepy ' but if you do you need to buy her a ring ' Melody says sleepy and i smile ' i'll buy her the most beautiful ring i can find honey ' i say ' one with a diamond ' Melody says sleepy ' yes with a big diamond right honey ' i say ' yes ' Melody says sleepy and hugs the teddybear ' Melody go to sleep honey ' i say and Melody nods and close her eyes ' goodnight ' Melody says sleepy ' goodnight honey ' i say and than she falls asleep and i drive further and we cross the border of Netherlands to Belgium and i take the first exit and drive untill the traffic lights and stop in front of them. A few minutes later it's green light and i drive further and take the next turn right and drive untill i see the motel sign and park at the back and turn off the car and step out and open Melody's door and lift her up and walk with her towards the motel entrance and step in, immediately a woman walks up to us ' Elayh!? ' the woman says ' Vera i need a room ' i say and nod at Melody who lays in my arms sleeping and Vera looks at Melody and smiles ' follow me ' Vera says and leads me up to the rooms and opens one ' you can stay here as long as you want ' Vera says ' thank you Vera, i owe you one ' i say and Vera smiles ' it's alright, i'm always happy to help you, how old is the girl? ' Vera says ' i know Vera thank you, she is 4 years old ' i say ' seriously?!, that's very young ' Vera says ' yes it is, but i'll talk to you tomorrow, i drove all night to get here ' i say and Vera nods smiling ' i get it, i'll leave you two, goodnight and nice to see you again Elayh ' Vera says ' yes same, goodnight ' i say and Vera nods and leaves the room and i lay Melody on the bed and go lay next to her and put the duvet over her and me ' sleep tight honey ' i say and fall asleep not long after that.
