Part 11

Madison's POV

I woke this morning and got ready for the day. It was Saturday so I didn't have school. I went downstairs and made a cup of coffee. Shortly after Liam came downstairs.

"Are you gonna explain what happened yesterday?" Liam asked taking a sip of the coffee he just made.

"Is Sofia home?" I ask not wanting to tell him if she was home.

"No, she went to a friends house last night." He replied.

"Well then i'd sit down cause this is a long story." I say. He listens and takes a seat at the table next to me. I tell him everything that happened last night.

After i finish explaining Wesley called. I answered quickly. "I'm at the grill with Mr. Harrison right now. He said he wanted to talk to you. I don't know why but he said that it's important."

"Ok, i'll be there soon." I say before hanging up.

"Wesley said Mr. Harrison wants to see me at the grill. I don't know why yet but i can tell you when i get back." I say turning towards Liam saying the last part as a question rather than a statement.

"Ok, stay safe." He replied.

"I will, bye." I say before walking out the front door. I got in my car and drove to the grill.

Shortly after i arrived and walked inside. I saw Wesley and Mr. Harrison over by the bar so i walked over to them. "Hey, I'm here." I say causing both of them to turn to me. "Why did you need me Mr. Harrison?" I ask.

"Please call me Jake outside of school. It's a lot easier to say and i wanted you here because you know a lot more about Sam and Colby being witches than Wesley does. He explained what had happened last night but that doesn't give me a good feel of how powerful they really are because they had the help from a Brock witch. Also if you know anything else about this ring I want to know." He says showing the eternity ring.

I explained everything i knew to him and i was honestly surprised that he wasn't freaking out. I knew he was a vampire hunter because of what happened when Wesley went to get the journal but he wasn't fazed at all. He wasn't even fazed by the fact that a founding family member was helping a vampire keep their secret. "How are you not freaking out right now?" I asked kinda confused.

"I'm a vampire hunter so i'm not really surprised." He replied.

"This might be to personal of a question but why did you decide to become a vampire hunter?" I asked.

"My wife was killed by one. They suspected me as the murder because they didn't find the body but I saw it happen. I believe it was your sister that did it actually." He said looking towards Wesley.

"I honestly wouldn't be surprised if she did. I'm sorry if she was actually the one that killed your wife. She was reckless after she turned and most definitely still is. I haven't seen her since i left Arlington Heights after i completed my transition. I couldn't stay here after knowing I killed my own father." Wesley said.

"Well that's fine. I know your nothing like your sister but that doesn't make me want to kill you any less. It's in my nature now. Your a good one so i'll try but i can't make any promises." Jake said.
