Part 20

We arrived at home and without a doubt a few minutes after we walked in the door, there was a knock on it. I opened the door only to be meet with Jake. I wasn't sure if this was Shane or Jake so I was about to shut the door when he stopped. "I'm not Shane Madi. He gave me my body back after you flipped out on him. He wants his vampire strength to scare you into finding Kay." He said.

"How do I know you're really Jake?" I say.

"The conversation at the grill. I know every word that was said. I know you feed off Sofia to complete the transition. It's really me Madi. You already Shane was in my body so why would I say I'm not him if I really am." He replied.

"That is true. Ok, you can come in. I'll catch you up on everything that's happened today." I say stepping to the side so he can walk in.

He walked in and sat on the couch. I closed the door behind him and went to sit next to him. I explained everything that happened because he said the last thing he remembered was blacking out.

A Few Hours Later

Jake left after I had told him what happened and now I'm on my way to the boarding house. I just arrived and I quickly got out and sped inside. Wesley had called me not long before I had left telling me that it was urgent and to bring Sofia. Sofia was obviously still behind me because I sped inside worried that something might happen in the split second when I was making my way to the house.

When I stopped in the living room there was glass on the floor. I followed where it was at and the window was shattered. "What the happened here?" I ask worried.

"Aw, nice to see that you could make it!" I here someone say from behind me.

I turn around and I'm met with the face of Blake. I assume that this was actually Shane. "Well, well, well. Look what the cat dragged in. A manipulative, asshole, who appears to look like my friend." I say.

"Oo, I love your attitude. Way better than his." He says back.

Sofia just ran into the living room and stopped dead in her tracks when she say Shane standing there. He sped over to her and stopped in front of her. His eyes softened as he looked at her. "Kay?" He said.

"Sorry to break you heart Shane but that's not Kay. It is her doppelgänger though. And also just so happens to be my sister so if you try anything I won't hesitate to tear you limb from limb." I say cockily.

"Would you look at that. You've got to remember Madi, I'm a hell of lot stronger than you and could take you down in second." He said slightly laughing.

"First of all, you don't have the right to call me Madi. Only my friends do. And second of all," I sped over to him, "I'm hell of a lot angrier than you." I say before I quickly grab his arm pulling it behind his back and pushing him to the floor. He struggles to get out of my grip. "What did I say. I'm a hell of a lot angrier than you. Try to take me down again with just your strength and no emotion and see where the hell it gets you. I'll win every single time." I say before I push his arm down and get off of him.

"Wow, your pretty strong for a new vampire. No ones been able to knock me down in five hundred years." He says astonished.

"Sorry to disappoint. Don't underestimate the power of human feelings when it comes to strength Shane. It won't turn out good on your end. Now why did you call me here?" I say turning to Wesley.

"I'm why." I hear a British voice say behind me.

"And who are you?" When I turn around to see who it was.

"Luke Gabriel. Part of the Original bloodline of vampires on earth. I've been alive for centuries upon centuries and I've come here to tell you that all of you are in great danger. Specifically the doppelgängers which is only one of you. Where's the boy?" He asked.

"He's on his way. I called him not to long after I called Madi and she lives closer to here than Blake does." Wesley said.

"Care to explain why you have a vampire doppelgänger in your house?" He asked.

"He showed up after Madi and Sofia got here. I don't know how or why he's here." Wesley simply answered.

Blake just walked into the living room and took a good look at his surroundings before his eyes stopped on Shane. They went from shocked to anger. He finally looked away from him still really confused as to what had happened here. "Why am I here and who are you?" Blake asked clearly confused.

"Luke Gabriel. Original blood line vampire. Your in great danger Blake. My brother has been after the doppelgängers for centuries and to know that your the two that haven't died or turned yet sent him running here. I'm here to protect you from him. He took the biggest thing I had away from me and I'm here to do the same." He replied.

Sofia and Blake instantly got scared. "Don't worry I'm not going to kill you. I'm here to protect you from what he might do. He won't kill you even if he had the chance. Your to important to him." Luke said.

The two were still scared but were less scared after hearing that. Suddenly we heard glass shatter upstairs. We sped up stairs to see Kay standing there with somebody in her hands and I could smell there blood. "Oh, hey Madi. I didn't know you were here." She said in fake confusion.

"What the hell do you want?" I ask.

"I want you to drain this poor civilian dry. I know you got it in you Madi. Come on." She said pushing the guy towards me.

I could feel the veins under my eyes emerge and took a deep breath to get them to go away but it didn't work. "Madison you can't do this. You don't understand what will happen if you do." Luke said.

"I'm sorry I can't help it." I say speeding over to the guy on the floor. I sink my fangs into his neck and start drinking his blood. I can't stop and before I know it his limp body is laying in my arms. I scream out in pain as my head starts to ache like a thousand tiny needles are being stuck into my head. "What's happening?!" I yell out looking at Luke who clearly knew this was gonna happen.

He began speaking, "Your..."
