So it's been three weeks living with Bear now. I still haven't gotten anywhere with him and his one word sentences, but I do know his scoffs are no and his grunts are yes.
I also know that the room I wasn't allowed to go into was his bedroom.
It's a no-no zone.
And he works at Walmart, being a stockman and he mows peoples lawn.
I found out that he mows lawns when I was walking back to the apartment after school and saw him mowing someone's lawn. He was wearing a white tank top and jeans and I clutched my thighs together for some friction.
It was a big turn on.
We've also fixed up a system, so that he does the cooking and I do laundry. He says that he doesn't like the laundry room, because people are in there.
Well his actual words were 'laundry room sucks. People'
A man of few words.
This morning I woke up great. Actually everyday I've woken up great. That mattress does wonders on my body.
I walk into the kitchen, where Bear was eating cereal. He was in his Walmart uniform, which even that he made hot.
I might have a little crush on my roommate.
"Morning," I say to him, making myself a cup of coffee.
He grunts. He's not a morning person.
I sit on the other stool and scroll through TikTok while drinking my coffee.
I then grab my books for my class and leave the apartment, saying goodbye to bear, who just gives me a little wave.
I'd call that progress.
I make my way to Starbucks, where I buy my second coffee.
Adrian smiles at me, while he puts my order into the computer. "How has your morning been?" He asks me.
"Good," I murmur.
"I was wondering-" he clears his throat. "Are you single?"
"Oh, um yeah," I answer.
"Can I buy you dinner sometime?" He asks.
I smile. "Okay."
"Tonight sound good?" I nod. "Okay," he says. "I'll write my number on your cup."
When I get my cup of coffee, sure enough his number was on there.
I'll pick you up at 6 - Adrian 528 2917
I'm finally branching out.

When I told Liv and Stacey they freaked out.Of course.
I texted Adrian during class, my address which he replied with a K.
After class they came over and helped me pick out an outfit.
They also got to meet Bear.
I tried to introduce them, but Bear walked away, into his room and slammed the door.
So Bear doesn't like my friends.
"He's rude," Liv says, as she plops down on the couch.
"He's shy," I murmur.
"No, he's just a dick," Stacey says.
"We aren't here to talk bad about my roommate," I say. "I need your help with my outfit for tonight."
