I couldn't sleep.
Not because I was thinking about the fight.
Because there was a storm outside.
I was really scared of storms.
I flinch when another flash of lightning, sparked the sky. Seconds later the loud rattle of thunder came through.
I get out of my bed and walk out the door.
I didn't care if Bear and I was fighting.
I was scared and was not sleeping by myself.
I knock on his door and open it, peeking my head inside.
"What, Danny?" Bear growls. I couldn't see him cause it was so dark.
I bite my bottom lip to hide my whimper, as another flash and rumble went through the sky.
"Can I sleep with you?"
I hear shuffle and then his bedside lamp turns on. "Are you scared?"
I nod and hug myself. "Yeah."
He sighs and lifts his blanket off him. "I'm still mad."
"I know," I whisper, climbing into bed with him. He snuggles into me, wrapping his arm around my waist.
He kisses my forehead and I smile into his chest. "You can't just go through my stuff, Danny."
I sigh and turn onto my side. "I know, my curiosity got the better of me."
"Curiosity killed the cat," he grunts.
"Satisfactory saved it," I retort.
"I don't like sharing with people," he says. "Let alone fucking touching people."
"Cause of prison, I know," I mutter.
He sighs. "But, I can't help that I have feelings for you."
I smile. "Okay."
"And I know you want shit like that," he says. "Which is why I'm willing to try."
"To try what?" I ask.
He grunts. "To be more open with you," he says. "Cause it was partially my fault you were going through my stuff anyway."
"It was?" I ask, confused.
What is happening right now?
"You wouldn't have to of been snooping if I just told you, what my meds were for," he states. "But the Crystal thing I'm mad at."
"Did you love her?" I ask.
"She was my friend." Bear growls. "Of course I loved her."
"You don't need to be defensive," I say. "I was just asking."
He takes a calming breath. "It's just a sensitive topic."
"I'm sorry you went through that," I say.
He grunts and snuggles into me. "Sleep."
I turn onto my side, facing him and lean over, placing a soft kiss on his lips. "Good night, Mitchell."

"I can't breathe," I gasp.Mac huffs and unzips the dress. "We are already up to a size 10."
"I've got a big ass," I murmur.
"I know," Jay says. "That's what Bear likes best."
"True," Mac states. She snaps her fingers at the retail worker. "Size 12."
The lady huffs and storms off. She comes back with the dress in a size twelve.
I put it on and Mac helps me zip it up. "It's looks amazing," Jay gushes. "This ex of yours, will be so angry that he lost you."
"Good," I say.
As you can tell, I decided that I'm going to the wedding. It's my aunt, I just had to. She was a second mother to me.
"Where's Bear today?" Jay asks, as we walk out of the store with the dress.
"He told me he has work till 6," I answer.
"Walmart?" Mac asks. I nod. "Let's go."
"No way," I laugh. "We can't disturb him."
"Hell yeah we can," Jay yells.
So we drive down to Walmart.
I grab a trolley and Jay gets into it.
"Ooh grab them," Jay says, as we pass some pool noddles. Mac grabs three of them.
"He's a stock boy so head down the back," Mac says.
As we head down to the back of the store, we grab some chocolates, lego and a bike for a kid.
Apparently Natasha needed a new one.
"There he is," I hiss. We all watch Bear who was stocking up on feminine products.
"Hey Bear!" Jay greets him, excitingly.
Bear looks over at us, glaring.
"You need any help?" Mac asks.
"No."
"Don't be so testy," Jay says. "We are here to see you."
"Figured," he mutters.
"Sorry," I mouth to him.
He rolls his eyes as if to say 'sure you are.'
"Are you going to her aunties wedding with her?" Mac asks, as she starts looking at the products that Bear was stocking.
"No."
"You know that slimy ex will be there right?" Jay asks.
"I know," Bear says. "I told him what would happen if he touched her."
"My dad will be there anyway," I pipe in. "He wants to kill Jason."
"I love Daddy Moore," Jay cheers.
Suddenly a guy with a orange vest walks over to us. The guy looked like he was gonna be sick. "Uh B-Bear, would you please get b-back to w-work?"
Bear grunts and the little guy squeaks, running off.
"Wow Bear, what'd you do to him?" Mac asks.
Bear shrugs.
