Jess's POV

"Hey people. How are you all?" "Good." "Fine. "Fantastic." "Lovely." All of them answered and I sat down, setting our trays down.

"So, is anyone from this group dating anyone? " I enquired and the girls said yes in sync which made me gasp.

"Spill the tea bitches! How could you not tell us and introduce your boyfriends?"

"Well, we thought it wasn't necessary because you know them." "I do? Whether I know them or not, I need to know nevertheless."  Ella shrugged and I started to think about all the boys I knew might be their boyfriends.

"You know Sophia's boyfriend too. They are here, sitting with us at this table." Rose continued, which made Ella and Sophia blush.

"How would you know?" "You know, it's hard not to know when they act lovey dovey in front of me." she scoffed and I frowned. "But how come I have never seen them do that? lovey dovey?"  I asked, totally oblivious of who their boyfriends were. "Wanna know their lovers?" I nodded my head and Rose looked at Ella and Sophia with mischievous glints in her eyes.

"Sophia is with Logan and Ella, with Diego." Rose said calmly and everyone looked at her with wide eyes.

"Damn! Were we that obvious?" Logan asked, bewildered.

"Apparently not beause Jess couldn't find out but what can I say, I can see through things and read people's expressions quite easily. Especially when you guys are mocking me for not having a boyfriend." She whispered the last part, making everyone laugh.

She shrugged and I pouted for being a slow-witted girl. She was right. She always knew what was going on in the uni and her surroundings before anyone told her anything.

"Nice joke by the way, I could have almost believed that you can read people's minds." Logan relaxed his somewhat tense muscles after he said it.

"So Rose, do you have a boyfriend?" "What do you think?" "I bet on 'She has a boyfriend'" "I don't think she has one." Ella disagreed and Sophia high fived her. "I agree with you bitch."

"I would say she has one because it's impossible for a girl like Rose to be single." Diego spoke for the first time.

"Oh? Don't be so sure, boy. And what kind of girl am I?" Rose asked him, curious.

"Well, everyone gossips about you and treats you like a queen bee in this school even though you don't show much interest. I bet men who have crush on you could line up in the whole playground." Logan replied with a shrug, as if he was confident with his words.

"I say she is single." Tyler stated. Suddenly, everyone turned their heads to Rose and waited for her reply and I giggled.

"Well, she doesn't have a boyfriend." The moment I said it, some cheered and some slouched, disappointed.
