Jessica's POV

The next day, I, Luke and all the chosen ones spent the whole day in the meeting room, discussing the details of the plan. We had several plans planned out in case of emergencies and if something went wrong.

I will be the in-charge of the first group who were to attack the warehouse and Luke would lead the second team to give a surprise to the old man. I really hope he's been exercising alot lately because I don't want him to die due to a heart attack when we haven't even started the game.

By the end of the meeting, we had fifteen plans in hand, seven for the surprise attack and eight for the attack on the warehouse. I hoped every went well after all the preparation.

We had a week to prepare and everyone was training extra hard in order to complete the mission without any flaws.

I and Luke trained together for hours every day, helping and fighting each other in the ring every day.

I got to say he truly is a hard opponent because I could barely escape his attacks. He was gentle enough not to hurt me anyway and as time passed, I realized I was far from being his rightful opponent.

It would take at least another three years of the special training for me to be able to actually land a decent punch on the guy.

Even though my self-esteem has dropped to the bottom from hours of training with Luciano, that was just one of the downsides.

I got to understand him on deeper levels that I didn't know was possible and we got close from all the fighting.

"Out of breath already?" Luke asked with a subtle smirk tugging on his lips as he peered down at me from the lock I was under.

I bet we'd been fighting on this ring for an hour or so and I felt so exhausted that I could no longer continue to fight him.

"Looks like you're getting more training after everything is over." he said as he got out of the ring and helped me get off as well.

"Aren't I pretty good at it though? I really don't want to train." I whined as I wiped the sweat that was trickling down my neck and whole body. Luke on the other hand looked completely fine, without any bead of sweat or any feeling of exhaustion from the previous fight.

"Nuh-uh. I am going to train with you for at least an hour every day. Make sure you spend more time with shooting since we both know you have really bad relationship with guns." He waved his long and veiny hands as he tried to make a point and I groaned.

Luke and I had a shooting competition the other day, once with the team we were to look after, and the other time, just the two of us and every time, I lost to him and he wouldn't fucking stop teasing me about it.

Also, even though it wasn't my first-time shooting rifles and guns, I have to practice more because I am not good at it. I almost shot myself the other time I was practicing and damn, did it discourage me so much.
