Rose's POV

Jack and Jade wanted to wait for our parents at the border of the kingdom so Tyler woke me up and took me to the woods. It was quite chilly as winter was approaching. I rubbed my arms up and down to produce some heat and looked around, wondering how long it would take for my parents to reach.

"You should wear more." Tyler spoke behind me as he took off his jacket and passed it to me. I looked at it and shook my head, declining even though it was so sweet of him to do so. I turned around and took a deep breath, enjoying how refreshing the air felt.

"Just wear it." Tyler insisted as he made me wear his jacket and I obliged this time.

"Thanks." I said and continued admiring the forest. I took another deep breath but this time, the smell of Tyler's cologne hit my nose and I was amazed at how wonderful it smelled. It was one of those smells that I could smell for hours without getting a headache.

Finding nothing interesting to do, I wandered and inhaled around like an idiot. Jack and Jade were nowhere in sight as they said they were getting ready to greet their old friends. I am sure I was the one who should be excited to see my parents since I am their daughter but my best friend's parents were much more excited to see them than I did.

'So, would you like to know what's actually going on? How they know each other and why they are so happy to meet them? I can give you some spoilers.' Layla suddenly appeared and spoke with a little smirk and excitement in her voice.

'Sure, it would be better than not knowing anything. What the heck is going on?'

'Hm, I will say two things;

One, your dad and mom, Victor and Aurora were the former King and Queen of werewolves.

Two, you're the princess and future queen of werewolves.'

'Just stay quiet if you don't know anything. Stop messing with my emotions.'

Layla rolled her eyes and replied. 'Well, it's upto you whether to believe me or not but you better get prepared because whatever your parents and Tyler's parents are going to say is going to change your life.'

"Do you have any idea how much longer we have to wait?" I asked Tyler as he approached me with a small smile.

"Not a clue. We can wait inside if you want. After all, it was my parents who wanted to wait for them." He stood next to me and I walked closer to him, trying to seek some warmth from him.

"Hm, I am not sure." I hesitated because going inside and reading Wattpad sounded so tempting but getting answers from my parents was just as urgent and important.

 "Come on. Let's get inside. It's cold outside and I am sure my parents will have no problem in welcoming them since they claim to know each other." Tyler grabbed my arm and I stood there, not knowing what to do. I can get very indecisive at times.

Who am I kidding? I always do.

"Fine." I gave in and followed Tyler as he led the way. I followed closely behind to not get lost in the dense forest.
