Rose's POV (Three years later)

I stood infront of a burning tree which was stuck by thunder a mere seconds ago. If this goes on, I doubt a tree is going to be left in this vast forest. Should I let it be to see how quick helicopters and rescuers are?

I mean, it doesn't sound too bad to give them some work, right? Shaking my thoughts off, I collected water drops that have been in the air and put the fire off the tree which has almost turned to its ashes.

I sighed in content as I looked at myself, who was now able to control any sort of natural elements. A huge thanks goes to Layla and Cameron. I've always thought that cultivation always was fantasy thing that only happened in books and science fiction but now that I am able to control them, I can say everything is possible in this world.

I don't always summon thunder to burn trees, infact, I decided that the animals in the forests deserve some rest without having their guards up after years of me harassing them. I didn't technically kill them, but I used my powers on them.

Layla has been guiding me throughout the years, teaching me how to control this stuff which still fascinates me. I walked further into the deep and dark woods because the air was much better inside. And most importantly, people can't find me there.

For the past three years, I've been staying in this forest with Xavier, Harry, Jessica, Tyler and we've had great time here. We've changed massively over the years with the arduous training. The training still goes on and we usually go hunting in the forest. And after the training, I take a few hours nap since I will be coming out into the forest to meditate in nature and cultivate.

I gathered twigs that were scattered around the ground with a swing of my hand and lit it easily. After all, water, air and fire were the very first skills I've learnt and these stuffs are just a piece of a cake to me. I try my best to not give myself away when we are in training, which has worked so far.

Layla was walking by my side and we both walked towards the rock that was opposite the bonfire. Whenever we would be out to practice, Layla would be out of my body and get the so-called freedom and privacy she needs.

I stopped in my tracks and whipped my head around when the wind carried a familiar scent and I screamed when a black figure stood infront of me.

It was scarier than any horror movies I've seen because I am not scared by ghosts but the person infront of me looked even scarier. I shivered and cowered away in fear as the figure started to walk towards us.

Layla was frozen on the ground to the extent that she forgot to get back into my body. Both of us were scared to death and I breathed out in relief when I saw the person I've had a crush on for years, Tyler.

Yes, I've started to like Tyler and no matter how much I told myself that we are impossible and we are just best friends, I couldn't ignore the butterflies and nervousness I felt when I was near him.

Recently, I've decided to ignore him in order to move on but who would have thought he's been stalking me?
