Ophelia's POV
When I opened my eyes, it took a while for me to register my surroundings. I seem to be caged inside a crystal casket in the royal cemetery because I could look outside. I tried to get the casket to open by pounding on it but it didn't budge an inch.
I finally got out by hitting the glass door open with my powerful wings. After all I only passed half of my power to Selene which would have been more than enough to complete all the missions, I gave her.
After I got out of the royal cemetery which was a few miles away from the kingdom, I flew towards the window where I knew Tyler's room would be.
I looked inside without much thought but Tyler's action took me off guard. He fell on to his knees and started to cry out of nowhere while he was going through some files. Upon seeing the scene, my heart clenched in guilt and I opened the window with my power.
Tyler didn't even notice that the window was yanked open. With a frown on my face, I landed swiftly on the room which was so much messier than the last time I've been here.
"Tyler." I called out to him and his face jerked up to meet my concerned gaze. I felt like I was torn into pieces upon seeing the dark circles and disheveled look on him.
I took a step towards him but he started laughing. I looked at him, puzzled, and he looked at me as if I wasn't there.
"Now I am hallucinating. Gosh, she would be so disappointed in me if she saw me like this." Tyler muttered and gathered the files he'd dropped as he fell to the floor.
I walked towards him and helped him pick up the papers. After gathering them, he walked past me as if I didn't exist and my heart felt like someone was cutting me into pieces.
Can he not see me or is he ignoring me on purpose?
"I am seriously imagining your scent, how pathetic!" It broke my heart to millions and billions of times to see him suffering like this. How many times was he put into this situation because it surely didn't look like the first time.
Tears were threatening to fall from my eyes and before they could completely blind my sight, I ran to Tyler and fell right into his arms. He just sat there; his muscles stiff as I laid in his arms.
"Rose? Is it really you?" I couldn't stop myself and burst out crying and I could feel Tyler panic as he started to rub my back up and down, trying to feel me as much as he can. His hands on me felt so warm and soothing.
"I am back, I missed you. I love you. I am so sorry I left you. I promise I will never leave you again." I started rambling and Tyler stopped me by cupping my cheeks and staring into my eyes.
"You're real. You're here." He whispered, as if he couldn't believe that I was right here, infront of him.
"I am here I am so sorry it took so long t-" Before I could continue, Tyler smashed his lips to mine and I closed my eyes, the tears falling from my eyes like stream of river. All the pain seemed to fade away somehow and I melted in his arms, missing the feeling of his warm and sweet lips on mine.
