Tyler's POV
We both got onto our bikes and I led the way to the kingdom. It was almost midnight and there weren't any vehicles on the way which made it easier for us to get to the castle. I looked behind me to check if Rose was following me when I couldn't feel her behind me. I stopped in my tracks and took my helmet off. Where the hell did, she disappear to? Her bike stood in the middle of the road but she was nowhere in sight.
"Rose?" I called out for her but there wasn't any response. Did she run away? Was I that scary?
"ROSE?" I called out louder and walked towards her bike. I heard some shuffling a few meters away and I slowly approached but sprinted towards her when I saw Rose groaning in pain, clutching her stomach.
"Rose? What's wrong?" she was clutching her stomach like her life depended on it. "Ro-" I couldn't go near or complete my sentence because she screamed, an aureate light blinding my vision. I shielded my eyes from the dazzling light to protect my eyes out of instinct. I could feel the land beneath me shaking as an earthquake took place.
I then heard Rose scream in agony but I couldn't do anything because the light was too blinding for me to see or do anything. A few minutes later, after lowering my arm, I waited and blinked rapidly for my eyes to adjust to the surrounding.
Infront of me lied a barely conscious white wolf on the ground. I approached it slowly and I knelt down to face it. I went to her mind since she couldn't talk to me from the state, she was in.
"Hey. You alright?" "Tyler?" "Yeah?" "How can you talk to me? How am I able to talk to you?" "Haven't you read enough werewolf books to know what it's called? It's called mind-link."
"I didn't know these things exist!" She exclaimed and started sobbing. I waited for her to calm down, patting and rubbing her back.
"Rose?" "Yes?" she answered, sniffling and raising her head to look at me with her tear-stained golden eyes that made me hold my breath. There was something special about her eyes that made me forget about my surroundings and the things that were happening.
"Now listen to me. You have to trust your wolf and ask her to give your body back. Just don't fight and argue with her." "My wolf? Who? Who am I supposed to ask-" She stopped thinking when a voice interrupted her.
"That would be me. Hello." Rose frowned when a strange voice spoke in her head and a smile appeared on my face, surprisingly finding the situation cute.
"Tyler, I don't understand. What do you mean I will have to trust my wolf? There is no wolf or whatsoever. By the way, what's happening to me? How can we talk in my head? Doesn't mind-link sort of stuff work between werewolves? I am not one, so how are you talking to me? Am I dreaming?" She kept rambling on and on and I forgot the questions she asked as she kept bombarding me with questions.
"Woah, woah. Easy there. One question at a time but before that, let's get you out of this state." "What state?" It sounded like she didn't know what was going on so I pointed at her body and she looked down at herself.
