Jessica's POV
The next morning, when Fiona woke up, she dragged me downstairs after ordering guards to take care of Damon and Kate. She took me to a mall situated downstairs and she beamed with joy.
"You have no idea how much I missed these stores while staying in Sydney. Go and buy whatever you want because shopping things is the best way to get your mind off things. Password is 1784." "Why are you giving me this? Aren't you gonna be with me?" I asked her as I looked at the card at my hand.
"Oh, well, I have alot of credit cards and that's for just in case I leave you alone. After all, you need money to buy stuff, you can use it." She winked and I chuckled.
I shook my head at her childishness and looked around. We went inside a shop which was filled with bags and shoes. Fiona have left me already, going into the deeper side of the shop, looking around. I looked around and everything in there were utterly beautiful and screamed MONEY!
A pair of shoes on display caught my attention and I made my way towards it. Before I could admire it, it was snatched away by someone else. I raised my head to see a Barbie standing there. Opps. Sorry, I guess my brain was playing a trick with me because it was just a blonde woman with heavy make-up.
"Luuke, this shoe is so beautiful. Will you buy it for me?" The woman who snatched shoes literally purred at a man standing behind her who had a boring look on his face. I dismissed them and asked a clerk if they had another pair of shoes. He brought two boxes without asking for my shoe size.
"May I ask your shoe size miss? We have only two pairs left because it's a limited edition. And the shoes sizes are 38 and 39" "Do you have any other pair because they seem way too big for me. I wear 36."
I asked him politely and he gave me an apologetic smile. I nodded my head in understanding and was about to look at some bags at the other side when a high-pitched voice stopped me.
"It's unfortunate she can't have it. I am sure she won't be able to afford it even if they had the right size." She sneered and I turned around to face the clerk. Fiona walked towards me with a frown on her face when she heard someone mock me.
"Wait a sec. I think I forgot to check the size of the shoe she is holding. Can you please check it for me?" I asked him and he politely asked the shoe from the Barbie.
"Even if the size of this shoe is your size, I am sure you won't get the chance because I wear 36 too. Opps, it really is 36." She checked the size and smirked at me. Fiona stepped forward, furious her but I held her back. I remained calm, not affected at how bitchy she was. I've dealt enough with Stacy shit during my uni. This is nothing.
"Please pack it for me and it will be under Luciano's name." the girl ordered the clerk, looking at me. I was about to throw her a savage comment but decided against it when a deep voice spoke instead.
"Stacy, what do you mean that shoe will be under my name? I don't remember telling you I will buy it for you." Fiona snorted next to me and her tense muscles relaxed, enjoying the drama unfolding infront of us. I was surprised for a second when I heard her name. Is it just a coincidence?
