A COUPLE DAYS AGO... (it's rewind time baybee 😎)

The sound of crunching thick snow and leaves were heard in the depths of the isolated, winter woodland, disturbing the silence that the forest once lay in. Two figures were seen carrying heavy bags and equipment, supposedly making their way back home from a long trip. One of the figures was a beautiful girl with H/C locks, straying behind the other in her own world. The other figure was a tall pig-like man with fuchsia, braided hair, who seemed to be carrying most of the loot and equipment, but was still ahead of the girl by a fair bit. It was his choice, though - he had insisted on carrying more of the bags they retrieved as a kind gesture.

It was currently midday, the sun sitting high in the sky, just barely peaking through the tree's shade and the cloud's atmosphere. They had been on a trip to loot one of the dark dungeons of an old, abandoned mineshaft a fair distance from their home. No one else had the guts to investigate the eerie railways, but this trip was one they had been planning for weeks now, and they weren't scared in the slightest. If anything, they were intrigued by it. The dark tunnels, creepy tales of what once happened there, the eerie creatures that were said to live there - sounds like an adventure waiting to happen, right?

Their trip has been more than successful, too. They managed to find several crates and boxes full of all kinds of old treasure and goods, ones that you wouldn't find in just your local village. It was worth it, to say the least.

Without them even realising it, the trail of smoke trailing from their home's chimney came into view, meaning they had arrived. The trip felt as though it were only a couple hours when in reality, it must have been a few days at least. Their home was hidden in a big, snowy wonderland, far from any other village or house. In fact, the closest house must have been around 4 or 5 miles away. They were completely hidden from socialisation. Nobody would really ever attempt to walk through here, too, due to constant snow storms and blizzards in their area - not that it bothered the duo. It was honestly no wonder Y/N struggled to find her brother for so long.

A few pellets of snow from one of the leaves above fell onto her face, causing her to flinch and blink away a few flakes that landed on her lashes. A mischievous smirk grew on her face as she tilted her head to face the pinkette after staring down at snowy ground beneath her feet. Thankfully, he seemed to be distracted by their home up ahead to notice what she was plotting. She quietly shifted her bags onto one shoulder as she knelt down onto the ground and scooped up a handful of the fluffy ice in her gloved hands, smoothing out the rough edges of it. She bit her bottom lip to hold back a chuckle as she launched the round ball, watching it soar through the air towards it's target.

What she didn't expect was for her target to step out of the way last second and for her shot to hit a tree instead.

Her smile quickly disappeared, blinking a few times before quickly scooping up another ball of snow and throwing it once again. Only for him to move out the way again, of course. This time she stopped fully in her tracks, raising her brows in suspicion. There was no way he would have saw her throw the ball - he had his back to her.

"You are aware I have other senses, right? Y'know, like... hearing?" his voice runs out over their silence, as if he read her exact thoughts. It wouldn't really surprise her, with all those 'twins can read each other's minds' bullshit. Despite being born in the same hour, they seemed so different from one another, but at the same time, so alike in many different aspects. It was... difficult to describe, to say the least.

(For those of you who may be thinking 'oh... but i don't have the same birthday as technoblade??' well you're in luck because for plot purposes techno now shares your birthday, congrats!)
