After hearing that she was now going to be fighting alongside her enemies, Y/N found it particularly hard to fall asleep that night. With the plan falling into motion the day after, everything could either go really well or really bad. As of now, her hopes weren't reaching too high. After the meeting, she was sent upstairs to her room to go to sleep, even though it wasn't that late. Of course, she was now allowed to leave her room, but she didn't think she could stand being near the group for a second longer that day, and decided to call it an early night. She tossed and turned in her bed, unable to stop her chattering thoughts from keeping her awake.
How on earth was she going to do this?
There was no way she was going to fight alongside her enemies - alongside the monsters. And there was no way she was fighting against her family, the people who have been with her for as long as she could remember. But who knew what Dream would do if she defies his orders. Frankly, she didn't want to find out. Hopefully everything would go to plan on the day of the escape. Hopefully.
The next morning, Y/N woke up exhausted, only managing to achieve a few hours of sleep throughout the whole time she was in her room. Her eyes were refusing to open and her limbs felt as though they wouldn't function. Thankfully, she managed to pull herself out of bed and rinse water onto her face in an attempt to wake her up a bit. The water may have only helped to some extent, but at least she could now open her heavy E/C eyes. She got herself ready for the day and got dressed into leggings and a large t shirt, which practically draped over her body, stopping a bit above her knees.
As she finished getting ready, she couldn't help but stare at a particular floorboard across the room, which only looked slightly out of place, but not enough for it to be noticeable. If Dream or anyone were to ever find the goods hidden in there, she'd probably be dead in seconds. The most she could do to prevent that was to act as inconspicuous as she could, and hopefully nobody would find her suspicious.
Snapping out of her trance, she quickly remembered that today she would have to start her training. Before she disappeared to her room last night, Dream had informed her to meet him in one of the practice rooms when she woke up - which she had conveniently crossed when she was sneaking around the castle grounds. Letting out a tired sigh, the girl left her room, finally feeling somewhat safe when walking around these halls.
She found the room, the door slightly but barely open, at the end of the corridor near the stairwell, with distant muffled sounds coming from in there. Letting her curiosity get the best of her, she slowly sparely up to the door, pushing it open slightly so she could peer in and investigate. Inside was a huge room, with a large open space and many training apparatus. There were targets, plastic dummies - even a row of punching bags.
Her attention was quickly brought to a door in the far corner of the room, her eyes observing it curiously. She soon found herself inching closer to it to examine it further. It was small, and looked as though it was made out of dark wood. It looked quite old and worn out compared to everything else in the room, with small scratches and scrapes covering it. She slowly ran her hand over it, feeling the rough, bumpy texture of the wood against her hands, as well as bits of dust that rubbed off onto her skin. Her hand found its way to the metal handle, making her skin tickle from it's coolness.
The longer her hand rested on top of the handle, the more the temptation to open the door ate her away. The odds of her being in trouble for snooping around in closed off areas like this were probably high, and she'd probably end up with no chance at escaping here if she did. But knowing that didn't help cure her curiosity. She began to add pressure to her hand, slowly but surely opening the door.
"I'm sure you'll find that it's locked."
Letting out a gasp, she spun around meeting face to face with the familiar white mask and green hood. The boy towered over her shorter frame, causing her to a hesitant step back. His hands were stuffed into his pockets and his face was tilted down at her intimidatingly. Although she couldn't see his face, she assumed it would be cocky or pissed.
